Same thing happened to me.  Got the call at 7:30 in the morning.  It's totally a scam.  The guy wouldn't give me any information but kept telling me to get a good lawyer.  The first call the guy said his name was Joseph.  I called back and the same guy answered said his name was Marc Victor.

Always receive a call from this number about a payday loa several times a day, the FTC has my report on file!!

Voicemail from "Jonah" with Indian accent warning of an extremely dangerous situation. Says my attorney must call immediately.

Bunch of low life, inbreed individuals try to get money using scare tactics from innocent people. I can't even hurt a fly but for this people, bullet in the head and let them rot.

I just received a call in mu cell phone stating they are the Offices of Russle Miller and that I owe a debt. They said they reported it to my credit bureau and they will be sending someone at 1:00 pm to my employeer. They said I will be arrested for criminal charges. Im very confused I dont know what they are talking about.

I keep getting these calls from this supposedly attorney telling me that I am going to be arrested and transported to the supreme court in california.

This number calls me every 15 mins talkin bout takin me to jail and tells me to call some man so I ask him to transfer me to the other person I needed to talk but he refused so I told him that I was going to go take out papers for harressment and he says that I will get picked up in the morning I think we need to get together

I got a call from the same number telling me I had charges pending against me and I needed to call a David Cooper.

This number 916-238-8471 calls my place of business several times a day. I almost fell for the scam the first time around. I was told that I had made arrangements for a payment to be automatically withdrawn from my bank account and they said the funds were not there so I was facing criminal charges. I FREAKED out. I thought about it and decided to go to my bank and see who was trying to withdraw money. The bank manager googled the phone number that called me and told me that someone was trying to scam me.It was the same foreign accent people. They were only calling my cell phone before,but have started calling my job."Joseph Braxton" is the name of the guy calling me now. I am reporting them this tim because this b***s*** has to stop!!!

I RECIEVED THESE HARRASSING CALLS TODAY FROM A GUY NAMED MARK VICTOR HE TOLD ME THE POLICE WOULD ARREST MY FROM MY JOB IF I DID NOT COMPLY..SO I HAD A LAWYER CALL AND HE HUNG UP ON THEM AND SAID HE WOULD ONLY TALK TO ME..HE HAD ALL MY INFO AND WAS TALKING CRAZY TO ME I HUNG UP ONHIM AND HE CALLED ME BACK AND LEFT ME A MESSAGE ASKIN AM I CRAZY AND DO I HAVE A MENTAL PROBLEM...WHO EVER THIS IS HAS TO BE STOPPED..

Important information should not be stored on vulnerable websites and servers.

They must've hacked a website/database that stored your personal information. This is a good reason why their boiler rooms must be demolished while they are inside comitting fraud.

l got a call from this very number.  An Indian or Arabic man named John Anderson said that I have to pay him $5700 for a payday loan that was deposited in my bank and not paid for.  This man knew my social security #,  drivers license #, home phone #, and my bosses personal cell #.  I called cashnetusa and they have no record of me getting a loan and their office is not in CA it's in Chicago.  I called my police depatment and this numbe is on recod for many scams.  I called bandwidth.com which is the Voip for this number and they said that resellers bought this number and sold it to tother people.  To report this number to bandwidth go to http://bandwidth.com/resources/legal/policy_violations.html or call (800) 808-5150.  The police told me that it's so easy to get info if you know what you doing!  We need to get these guys.

I have been receiving phone calls for a whole month from a Mr Brian Taylor talking about debt collection agency I called up to the real debt collectors they Told me it was a big hoax if they keep calling my Damn phone very rudley I'm going to be very unpleasant.  you can barley hear what they are saying so when you ask them to repeat themselves they hang up in your face so unprofessional I was gonna call back and give them a piece of my d***n mind ima wait until they call back cause I know they will. Beware ppl I will never fill out nothing on line ever again....

I recieved a call from this number and was told to speak to a Mark Victor at ext 121 when I called back to speak with them I stated I was in legal and that they will be contacted by local law inforcement asap .....I hung up , I tried to call back but when I did the call was dropped lol freaking scammers.... Try again I didnt just fall off the turnip truck!!!!!

I also received a call from this phone number with the same threatening message. I immediately contacted the police who informed me that this is a scam and that several people in my area alone have already called to report this. He stated you can not be arrested fro a payday loan that it is a civil suit lol and to just watch my credit report if i see where they have tried to open something up in my name to then file a police report and to change my number or block  the number if the calls continued. I have credit monitoring so i am good!

I did recive same phonecall .I call back to this number . Guy name mark victor say I Got a warrant to be issue in the next 20 minutes .. he want me t buy a prepay visa card n put money on it n give them the information so that way I don't get arest it ... ????

I got a call from this man telling me that I have three crimnal charges aginst me and I have 20 to 30 min's to go up and get A net pre payed card with a 500.00 doller payment on it in order to stop these charges. If I did not pay this payment then I would be arrested and be charged for all 3 charges. Some people should get a life and a real Fliping job ! and leave people alone

Been on the phone with the ftc all morning. Its a telemarketing scam.  Ignore the calls and report this through your state attorney generals office.

if u would like the calls to stop call magic jack and tell them to cancel thier service      these people are using the magicjack service for this scam

I just received a call from a man with an Indian accent saying his name was Carl Williams from (916)238-8471. He said it was very urgent that my lawyer contact him regarding a legal matter & if not all he can do is wish me luck eith my legal matter. I called the # back feeling as if something was suspicious & the man would not answer the phone, instead the phone just beeped. Whom ever this low budget scam artist is, the gig is up.....

and spoke with a Mark Lichter.  He read all kinds of legal charges that are being filed against
me for a payday loan from cash advance. usa. There were 3 so called charges against me,
theft by deception, check fraud, and i forget the other.  The total due is $4500.00;
I have researched this phone number on the internet and found complaints about a scam.
I wish there was something done about these people.. I have been continuously harrassed by
these scammers, and to call me at work, is not acceptable . What's scary about this is they have my personal identification and my work number. I have reported them to the FTC. Hope they can really do something about these freaken scammer.

This man called this morning with an Idina sounding accent stating I needed to call  916-238-8471 and ask for David Cooper regarding a business matter. I asked what it was in reference to and he said David Cooper would be able to answer legal questions and to call back later to that number.  Some America accented man answered saying he was David Cooper and then it transferred back to the Indian accent man who initially called me this morning saying he was David Cooper. I asked him what this was about and to speak with David Cooper. He kept insisting he is David Cooper from a law firm in California. and I said, "If you are David Cooper why did you ask me to call David Cooper this morning." He then went on a rampage and replied for me to "go f*** myself". That is exactly what he said. I am reporting this number to BBB FTC and also to the consumer fraud department where I work.

Tey calle me too and i told them i was a lawyer nd they started swearing at me and calling me names and i just laughed but they keep calling so when they call back im goin to pretend to be the FBI

They called me at work and at my home and left message stating if I did not call them back I may be arrested for a debt!!!! I am reporting them to FBI and all three credit bureaus !!!
