This company called me 13 times today, asking for a Tabita this time.  Reported it the first time, going to report this one too.  The caller threatened to call me at 4am in 2 separate calls.  5 of the calls were made within 4 minutes. This is harassment!

I got a call from this number and immediately started looking into all the loans that I have taken out online for the past three years. I called the numbers and they told me that if the person who called me does not give me the original account number for the loan which they should have on file then it is a scam. I googled this number and saw all these posts and discovered it was a scam. I am glad I decided to check this out before I made a big mistake. I would tell anyone that they need to check first before giving out any money to so called debt collectors because this is not the first time that they have tried this they just used a different number last time.

I am getting same calls & threats that i am going to be arrested on my job, what can be done to stop these con artist?

I had 6 missed calls from this number. I tried calling back there was no answer or voice machine. They called back with a heavy middle eastern accent. They knew my full name. I asked how they got my number? Told me he was the middle man letting me I was being sued by the Federal Cosumers or something. Gave me the number to a "Mark Gamble" another piece of s*** with a middle eastern accent. He gave me a long speech about the law suit being filed against me. Fraud and owing Cash Advance money.  I owed 300$. I would be arrested.When I told him I needed to speak with someone who was american. He basically said bye very quickly. I started to think how this a***ole got my information. I used Cash Central for a small loan that I already paid. My information was linked through the internet. I have now changed my number and banking information.

I keep getting phone calls from someone who barely speaks English. He said his name was Mr. Anderson and that I was being sued and I should call and ask for Mr. Kimbal. He would only say that he was with the Law Department but wouldn't say what company. He said I needed to call right away. But when I called I got him and not Mr. Kimbal. He had a very heavy Indian accent. He called my numerous times over the past
week. This time he said I was being sued three times and wanted my attorney's phone number so I could have material faxed to him. I know that I have no outstanding bills that are in danger of being collected upon so this was totally upsetting and uncalled for. I do hope someone can stop this.

I received a phone call from 916-243-6987 at my place of employment. They stated there were several charges against me and I would be picking the legal papers up from my employer today after 5pm. The man was called Max Campbell.  He had a very heavy indian accent.  He scared me to death.  He was called on behalf of Cash America.  Not even sure if I ever had a payday loan from them!  I am high ranking at my job and can't have this type of activity occuring here.  Is this a real threat?  Why haven't I been notified by the courts?  Why are they calling me warning me?  They keep calling me!  What do I do?

I have been receiving about 10-20 phone calls per day from this number asking for Gretchen. They are not able to speak English well, and when I ask that they do not call me, I always get an immediate call back. They called me this morning at 5:45am. Not happy! Stop calling me!

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I just received a call from these same fools saying that i got a payday loan from them and that it was deposite into my account and that i didn't pay it back. They also said when it was deposited inot my account that because i didn't pay them back they went back into my account and took the amount back out. Well if you did that then why are you trying to sue me, how do i have three charges against me for fraud, and how are you going to sue me from California? Don't fall for this, this is a scam and fraud on their part, what they are trying to do is get you to give them your information (banking) and give them permission so they can debit your account. I called the 916-243-6987 number back and cussed them out and let them know that they are all over the internet and that everybody knew this was a scam and don't call my hpone again. And like yall they had my second email address, my job name. and said i had three federal charges pending against me and that they was sueing me and sending police to my job and that the lawsuit would be downloaded to the state attorney general office and local police department today and that they would arrest me tomorrow. I told please do and try it and that i was going to sue the crap out of they a**. The guy Max whatever his last name was said i have read to you the charges i need your attorney name and they are going to bring me to California to answer charges and don't call this number againg and that he didn't appreciate my rudeness LOL! Don't fall for it because like i told them if there was anything deposited into my account and then taken out it would show up on my statements and that i do have online banking and access to my statement DUMMIES! Next time they call you tell t hem to go to hell and don't call your phone again oh and keep calling them back telling them you know they are scammers and that you are reporting them to he police and they will leave you alone then.

I have gone through the same as the above Posters. I took out a small payday loan and paid it back within two weeks. This same Clown with the poor English has relentlessly called My cell with a threat message. They even called at 7am.4 times in a row just to hang up      I work in Finance and the FDCPA prohibits 1) Calling people before 8am  2) Threatening criminal action over a debt 3) Not properly identifying Your company. I have already reported them to the FTC and will do so with law enforcement, and I have saved their messages and call record

I have received 3 calls from this number this morning alone. once at about 8:30am, again at 9:35am, and again, just a few minutes ago, 11:06am, Looking for a Teresa Snodgrass.  They left a nasty message on my machine on both of the first 2 calls.  After the 2nd call, I looked up the number and found this page.  So I called the number back, after blocking the number, and all i got was the background shuffling and a beep. I assume the beep is an answering machine, so i said that i knew it was a scam and I am reporting them.  The 3rd call, I actually answered, and no one spoke. I simply repeated what i had said about knowing it was a scam and hung up. How do we get these calls to stop?! I saved the messages on my machine

I've been getting calls all week, but this morning they have called my work number and cell number several times. I finally spoke a man with a thick Indian accent named Max Tamble who told me there are 3 federal charges against me, documents will be sent to my home address, my attorney and my place of employment and that tomorrow morning (Saturday) athorities from California will be coming to my address in the state of NY to arrest me and take me back to California to face these charges, so I should get ready with my attorney.
I okay, hung the phone up then posted this.  The funny thing is I've gotten calls from 3 other numbers all stating they are some part of the Federal Goverment calling on behalf of US Cash Advance, but they all have different names. They all claim I owe $300.00.  Check out the list below

Got a threatening message from this number after they called 6 times in a row! They said if I or my lawyer didnt call that they wished me luck and I would be in severe trouble

I just recieved this call from a Foreign man asking for my social and he already had the last four!.
He told me he was a paralegal for Mark Gamble and gave me his number. I called this attny Mark Gamble at 9162436987 and he states that he is coming to my job because I took out a payday loan and didn't pay it back. I haven't taking out a damn thing! He told me I was going to be arrested today and that I would be tried in the state of California! I told him I have never recieved any money as a matter of fact I was laid off from Bank of America three weeks ago and I could use some money. Then I told him to kiss my Black a**! I normally don't talk like this but these people were getting on my nerves. They have the last four of my social, my email and where I work and I have no clue who they are! I call them back and they never answer or they call me and don't say anything 5 times a day! This needs to stop! Who are these people and how do we stop them. It is not okay to scam on people especially ones who have recently been laid off and without income for the last three weeks. If I could find him I would A town stump theirs a***s!

this person has called and threatened my at home and at work. telling me im gonna be arrested if i dont contact an attorney max gamble. i called him and he also threatened me. this all started after i had applied to an online loan company.

This number calls every morning at 7  am...i finally answered and its some dude  saying he's an attorney

Why can't someone do something about these lowlifes that keep calling and harassing people.  They are not legitimate.  I thought that was what the do not call registry was for...This number has called my cell phone 10 times in the last 20 minutes.  I do not have the time to talk with these jerks.

I received a call today and the vm stated that it was a call from a mr.brown. When I called him back he went on to tell me that I had 3 warrants,stated my place of employment and stated that the police would be to my job on Monday. Scared the hell out if me even tho I knew I have done nothing to warrant me being arrested. Thanks so much for everyone's input it was very helpful n put my mind to rest. I will be contacting the local authorities first thing Monday morning!!

I received a threating voice mail from this number using my name I returned the call a foreign guy answered and from then on I knew this call was a fraud...

This person called me, barely spoke english, left me a voice mail, says his name is Michael smith, or michael sweet. Stated urgent matter to contact him right away. Made a threat if I didnt. Thats against the law. I am reporting it, as we all should.

i recieved the same phone call today.  what i could understand what he was saying it is pretty much the same as everyone else has said.  i am going down to my local police department to see if i can bring charges against these people.  i am so sick of the calling and harrassing me about stuff i know i did not do.  i have plently of friends in the police department that are going to look in this for me.

A foreign speaking man said I have a lawsuit against me and others charges which will be DOWNLOADED (LOL) tomorrow at his courthouse. I know I have nothing of the source and these fraud calls need to stop and they need to be found and prosecuted.

I recently did a payday loan and this number started calling saying I borrowed cash from them and never paid them back they had all my information social security number address work info. Said they were fonna send the police to my job to arrest me for fraud the next day. I told them send the police I'll be sure to let my father and husband who are both officers know about it. They hung up. They called back within the hour and said they wanted my lawyers information that they were going to sapena me today I said good luck doing that all the way from India and told them to give me there lawyers info so I could sue them for harassment. Asked for an employee and said it was a legal matter.  Was rude and persistent.  Barely spoke english. We called back and they said they were going to send the police to our office in the morning but couldn't tell us our address.
