PLEASE, STOP CALLING, ITS VERY ANNOYING

I  have  received  numerous  calls  from  this  outfit  phone  rings  3  times  then  the  creeps  hang  up.

Received MANY calls from 259-3373 and I am on DO NOT CALL for my landline and cell.

I received multiple calls from this number.  They never leave a message

Just call and hang up.. No message.. Over and over.. I'm not answering the phone. Just see the number on the caller ID..

This number has been calling me every day on my land line and on my cell phone.  I am on the do not call list for both.  Who are they and how can they get away with this nuisance?

How do you know this is the same person who is making the illegal calls?

Several calls from this number yesterday and today. They left their (illegal) recorded message twice on our answer phone.

This number has been calling daily, but they hang up right before the voicemail picks up.

This number calls alot but leaves no message.  I answered and it was a recording saying they could save me money on my PG&E bills.  I hung up.

They hung-up........ignore the calls, just pick-up and drop the receiver.

They call 3 times a day..........

These people call my 17 year old daily. They hang up when he answers. It gets really frustrating for us.

I pretended I wanted to order the $29.99 service and she gave me the company's website.

They've been calling me non-stop as well for the past I don't know HOW LONG.

Stopped after 3 rings. After checking the number on this site, I added them to the rogues' gallery on my call block list.

Same as above. Daily calls for months. I requested take me off the list with no response & no slow down in calls.

This number (or other related ones) have been calling me relentlessly, over and over again, for weeks.  They even call my FAX number also, repeatedly.

Once, I waded through the (illegal) pre-recorded message that you get at first and talked to a live human who identified the business as "Central Heating & Air" out of Sacramento.  Well, surprise, surprise!  There IS no such company in Sacramento.   In fact there is no such company in all of California.

The told the woman I spoke with that what they were doing was illegal under the federal TCPA, and she tried to make some bulls**t claim that the law had been recently changed. I asked her to elaborate, and of course, she couldn't.  (I think that she said her name was "Ruth", but of course, like everything else related to these a-holes, that was probably just a fradulent pseudonym.)

These people are crooks, and they know they are crooks.  They know what they are doing is illegal, and that's why they try to hide behind a false/non-existent business name, to make it difficult or impossible to track them down.  But somebody WILL have to track them down, and then sue them (in small claims or otherwise) under the TCPA private-right-of-action.  Complaining to the Placer County Sherriff or the police is only likely to get you a good laugh all around.  Cops won't do squat about this kind of stuff.

I hope that somebody who has got some spare time will track these people and sue them.  For each call where the _initially_ played a pre-recorded message at you, you can nail them for $1,500.  So If you got, say, three calls from them, you could make yourself an easy $4,500 and do the world some good by nailing these b*****ds.  (Note that the limit for small claims, first two actions per year per individual, is $7,500, so you can get your dough in small claims without having to pay a lawyer.)

The only hard part is identifying who this really is.  And that will be tricky because they will use every trick in the book to avoid identifying themselves unless and until it is absolutely necessary.  So you'll have top play along and pretend that you're really interested in whatever sort of schlocky crap service they are offering.  Eventually, probably sooner rather than later, they are going to ask you for a check or for your credit card number... most probably the latter, and most probably BEFORE they will even come out to your location.  So somebody has to bite the bullet, give them your CC number, then get your CC statement (hopefully online and hopefully then next day) and just find out the name of the entity to which the money was given, and then tell your CC company that you want to reverse the charge because you found out the company is fraudulent.  The CC company will reverse the charge, but then, unless you used an American Express CC, you still might only have a pseudonym for the real recipients of the money (but you may get lucky and have the real name) and as I understand it, both Visa and MC are in the habit of running interference for these kinds of crook, and if they used a pseudonym for their billing, Visa/MC _won't_ give you the _real_ name of the crooks who got the money.

But it is worth a try.  If you fail you are out nothing.  If you succeed, then you can make $1,500 PER VIOLATION.

Anybody who is retired and has the time to peruse this... it would be worth your while.

I don't understand how this practice makes any business money. So why do so many business continue to do this? Then if you call them back 98% don't even answer the call. There must be a reason.

Yes, they called; no message.  You may want to associate this number (916 2593373) with this number (916 6929318) if you get called again.  I called back on the first number and left a message to take me off their list, but I believe they just called on a different phone.  No problem for me, I just blocked both numbers.  I hope I have more blocks left than they have phones.

this number has called me 4x in the last 1and a half days. its always a recorded message saying "attention homeowners! It's getting hot outside! We are offering an AC tuneup for 29.95! Yes, you heard that right! 29.95!..." . You get the picture. They call me with the same message from 2 other numbers. In the middle of their most recent call i said " I DON'T give a f***!" and they hung up. ha ha
