Called and hung up. Just reported them to donotcall.gov.

I get calls from this number almost every evening! They never leave a message. I have never answered their calls.

I don't answer calls from companies unless I'm expecting a call from them or I know who they are and can trust them. This number shows up in our caller ID as "Your Energy Source." Looked up the name in AnyWho Yellow Pages and it comes up with an address of 11500 Sunrise Gold Cir, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742. Their company phone number is (916) 861-7800. The Sacramento Better Business Bureau (BBB of Northeast California, www.sacramento.bbb.org) has a different address but the same phone number for them: 11386 Sunrise Park Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA. They also list an additional phone number of 866-861-7800. This is a specialty/home improvement contractor.

Starts off normal with a guy explaining some energy thing. He knows my last name and asks for the Mr. or Mrs. of the house. I explain I am a student and that I don't own a house. He asks me how old I am and if I use myspace.com. I start getting really weird out and finally the last straw he asks if I am "cute". the convo ends there. I don't know the purpose of this call but either way I would stand clear.

Machine voice saying that I owe 30 something dollars for who knows what.

Call started off pleasantly enough, though the caller slurred the name of her company and I didn't catch it.  At first, she tried to make it appear that she was calling from the government to advise us about California's "Energy Star" program to encourage us to buy a new energy-efficient central air and furnace combo.  That bit of dishonesty pissed me off, as I knew she was calling for a company, and not the government, and the call began going downhill from there.  I made it clear that we couldn't afford to do it right now, but she wouldn't give up.  Real pushy bi***, almost to the point of hectoring.  Finally had to hang up on her.
