I just filled a complaint with the FCC about this number and several others from the same telemarketing company (http://www.fcc.gov/complaints). They have been calling me for two years even though I have begged them to stop. They say they will take me off their list, sometimes they just hang up on me when I try to ask. They are selling credit cards.

Received a phone call from this number, as well as many others, from a company offering to lower my interest rates on my credit cards.  All their numbers rang back as disconnected or not in service, so this company is duping their ANI (caller ID) to avoid being caught and shut down.  When I first started receiving these phone calls I didn't even have credit cards, and originally, I just pressed the button it says to press if you want to be removed from their list, yet I still received their calls, so I then pressed the button for the operator, and asked how they obtained my number.  The operator stated that they received my number from my credit card companies, because "the credit card companies recognize that my accounts have been in good standing, and want to help me lower my rates."  Mind you, I didn't even have credit cards at the time, and I mentioned this to them, but the response I got was a very rude "Well, someone in your household has credit cards that they have been using."  ...These people called my cell, not a household number.  I then explained that my number is on the National Do No Call Registry, and asked to be removed from their list, and they said they would put me on their do not call list, but that my number had recently expired from the Do Not Call Registry.  After I hung up with them, I checked the Do Not Call Registry's website, and my number is still active; what's even better is that it states that numbers don't expire from the list, so these people are liars.  I continued to receive phone calls, so I decided to try pressing the button for my number to be removed again...no luck, as I still received calls.  These phone calls resulted in them hanging up on me when I asked who they were, and why they continue to call me after I asked them to remove me.  On one occasion, I decided to play their game; if they're going to waste my time with their unwanted calls, I was going to waste their time.  I asked for an operator, and played right along, giving them a fake name and everything, which went on for like 5 minutes or so with different yes/no questions and them telling me about their service (all the while never mentioning the name of their company), until we got to the question "about how much would you say you have in credit card debt?"  My response to this question was "I don't have any credit cards."  All I heard next was a grunt sound, as if they were disgusted, and the click of them hanging up the phone.  These people are rude and inconsiderate, so I decided that the next time I received a phone call from these people, I was going to be just as rude to them.  Today I received the call, and asked for an operator.  When the operator came on, I proceeded to state "You're a f*&king piece of Sh@t!"  The operated then stated back to me "I'm sorry, you must think this is your dad calling."  I'm SOOO over these people calling me, and yet, what I don't understand is that these people are clearly Americans (based on the fact that they have no accents, speak perfect English, and the numbers they use are US numbers), yet I have been receiving these phone calls for months now, and they are still operating.  Why have these people not been shut down yet?!  Today I placed a 2nd complaint to the FCC about them.

Add the number to your contacts then opt to have all calls sent straight to your voicemail.
I find this is the easiest way to hinder most unwanted calls.

I reveived a call from this number and pressed '9' as instructed, When answered, I told the person to NOT call this number again.  I also reported this calll to the "DO NOT CALL" registery for what good that will do.  My number has been registered on "DO NOT CALL" since February 2009.

These guys are tough to shake.  I pressed "9" to "stop the calls", yeah right.   I tried answering, then leaving the phone off the hook, wasting their time in general, asking which of my cards they want to help me with, of course they don't know jack.  I don't have any balance to transfer.  So this time I basically, out of frustration, begged.  I asked nicely and almost timidly, "how do I get off this list, I'm on the do not call list, please stop calling"  She responded in a rude voice "Sir, have a nice day" and hung up.

Immediately filed a complaint with the Do Not Call web site, since my number had been registered since 2009 (even verified it while I was there).

I rec'd a call from this company about three years ago while at a training class for my job.  I was told by a man that I was a stupid b!tch for pressing 1 when I did not have a credit card!  I cannot remember everything he said, but I guess I really I ticked him off because he went off for about a min.  I still receive calls from this company, on my work phone and cell phone.  There is nothing you can do to stop them. I have been on the DNC registery since May 2010, and they still call.  I wonder how much money they have made? And why do they get away with theft? If the govt can track you at home through a computer(ip address), then why have they not traced this phone #?  Maybe it is the phone companies doing it so we will pay more money on out phone bills to have it blocked, then the govt gets more $ through the tax we pay on our phone bill... Just a thought

I too got a call from them, something about lowering my credit bill and I have no credit card!  This has to be a scam- what do we do about these a-holes?!  I'm on the do not call list.  What good is being on this list because it does not work.

The DO NOT CALL list is a joke!  I don't even know why it is out there; it does not work at all.  Contact the FCC and maybe they will do something!

I rec'd this call today too. I use a great free voicemail service (no I don't have any connection to it other than as a free customer) called youmail.com. My inexpensive Samsung SGH T-249 phone can block numbers (limited number) by automatically forwarding to voicemail and not ring on the phone. In this case, I use youmail as my voicemail box. What's nice about the service other than free is that it will answer the caller with smart greeting (if a valid caller id is sent by the caller) of the caller's name. The service records the phone number and name if possible and I can either use a canned answer or record a personal message. So if mom calls I can have a special message only she will receive. If a scammer calls a second time I have youmail "ditch" the call (they can not leave a message) and it answers with "good-bye" then hangs up immediately. They have 1000's of canned greetings from humorous to serious or you can record you own message per each entry in your caller database. They do have charge for services available but you'll have to check those out yourself if interested.

They are also calling my cell phone and from different numbers as stated above.  When I get one of these calls, I save it in my contact and assign a No Ringtone.  Then I'm just not bothered.

I get a recorded call from this number from "call holder services" and it says to dial 9 to speak to a rep.  I dial nine and tellt hem to stop with the calls I am on a no call list.  The women on the other end says it does not matter!  When I say she must not know the policy she hung up on me.  I think they are up to no good.

Check with your phone service about blocking calls. My phones (house & cell) have the capability to block calls. My house phone has a code I enter once after a call like this. My cell number only allows 5 blocked numbers and they delete these every 3 month. I've found that having the number on the delete list for 3 months usually gets rid of the call. You all might try this - right after you report them to the DNCR!!!

Got a call today at 11:59.  Answering machine picked it up and Rachel the Robo dialer cut out.  I just did get rid of the same type of call from a Montana number (who called daily from February through May) regarding credit card interest and my ability to lower it through their services.  I tried everything from telling them that I could not give them my credit card number because I lost my card, my statements were burned in the house fire, my mailbox had been beat to death in the night, my garage had been set on fire and I would no longer be able to drive to work to earn the money to maintain payments anyway.  For awhile it stopped.  What finally ended it was by contacting (via email) the DoNotCall website and filing a complaint with the dates, times and numbers from my caller ID.  Guess they got a new number now and I will continue to report such and not give anybody I don't know the satisfaction of picking up the phone!
