Called asking for donation for California Fire Fighters.  Claimed I had an outstanding commitment to them.

i need for some body in our govt to put a stop to these telemarker, wer are on the do not call list but does that help because they goung around it using 800 number and 900 number would think the govt could do a better job but quess not

This type of harrassment has to stop.   This group calls even more than 10  times in a week. sometimes as many as 6 times in a single day.  Their partner group, only showing as Unknown Caller, is even worse.    Maybe they are the same group but sometimes they call as many as 6 times in a single day.   They start by saying that this call is being recorded for my protection!  Why do I need protection from beggars??  They are very aggressive and don't give you a chance to even talk.  If I say I will donate $25.00 they say make it $50.00.  If I say I have no money, they say make it $20.00.   Everyone I talk to about this says it is a scam.    Make them stop!
