They have called me repeatedly saying I have an outstanding payday loan from "Money and More" from 6/12/08 that was never paid back. They said the loan amount was for $255.00, I was suppose to pay them back $300.00  on 7/16/08. I told them I had not taken out any payday loans and that there was some sort of error, and asked why they are just calling me now, 3 years after the 'supposed' payday loan was given, and the ladies response was : We have bought a lot of cases from the company so we are just getting around to them now. They told me I owe them a total of $507.00, but would settle today for $400.00 or we could work out a payment arrangement of $100 per month until all $507 was paid back. The lady informed me her she worked for Associates Legal Center, LLC, and was representing Granite Capitol Acquisitions, gave me a reference number and all. This I know for a fact is a total fabrication, as I have never taken a payday loan, and after doing some research, no payday loan company gives a loan of $255, No allows a repayment date of more than 1 month after the money was 'supposedly" deposited into my account. She told me if I wanted to dispute it all I have to do is go to my bank and get a printout of my bank account and SEND THEM A COPY of my full bank statement from 6/08-8/08. I'm not sure if this chick she is gonna actually get me to fall for this because it has worked on many people in the past, but I can assure you that I'm not falling for it, and will be reporting it to the FCC. They had all my banking info some how (checking account #, routing #) so I just went and closed my account with that bank and opened a new account with a new bank. This is roughly the third time I have received a call from a comp[any claiming the same thing. Funny thing is though, this never happened till I started to bank with Chase  Bank. When I was with Bank of America, and WaMU, and even the horrible Wells Fargo, I never had any such problems. Glad I closed with Chase Bank anyways... Not like there was A TON of money in my accounts... but the fact that they had all my info really scared the crap outta me. Like I said this has happened 4 times in the past 1 year and 3 months since i started banking with Chase... but for the other 13 years I've used other banks, I've never once run into this Issue.

Have been calling my phone several times a day. I do not answer. They called my daughter & said her name is on the application that I did. And that they don't know if they have right phone number. I called & left a message on the machine about not cotacting my daughter. The person that calls me from this number & leaves a message says her name is Christine & the company is Associate Legal Center. Anybody that has any info on the person or company would be helpful. Thanks.

I also received a call from them pertaining to the same thing and they have also been calling other people that i know trying to get in contact with me. The first call they left a message stating thatb they wanted to discuss business that we had been conducting. When they called other people i know they identified themselves as "associates of legal" which doesn't sound very professional. I've never been to california nor have i ever had a payday loan let alone one from california. This seems to be getting serious because i know not to give anyone info about myself but the fact that they're calling people i know scares me because some people don't know any better.

This person says they are from a Collections company calling me about a Payday loan taken out in August 2008 that I never paid it back.  Not sure but as far as I know; if you take out a payday loan, you either have to provide a checking account or a check and they get thier money whether it is there or not.
