Ed Fund... it's NOT cool to be harrassing people who have nothing to do with your company/services.

I got one to... Ed Fund stands for Education Funding.  They must want to refinance my student loans.  It's a sales call and I'm on a "do not call" list.

I get a phone call from them too. I do go to school and have loans, but I am in good status. I don't think that the schools should be giving these peopel our information - even our cell phones.

I just received a phone call on my cell from this same number. First off the man calling me was impossible to understand. He said he was calling about my student loans and my sudden status change with my school. Which was alarming because I am still in school in good status. He then cited a school they had on record for me which is not even my school. When I informed him that was not my school he put me on hold for 10 minutes. I called the bank my student loans are through concerned and they gave me the phone number of the guarantor associated with my loans: Ed Fund (located in California). The number my bank has for Ed Fund is 1-888-294-0105. I am going to call them and ask they remove me from their list since it sounds like solicitation calls based on everyone's responses above.

I am at the near-default point with Sallie Mae, but these people called me two weeks ago claiming I was in default for an amount nearly 4 times what I actually owe. At the time, I was so taken aback - they called my parents' home while I was house-sitting, and I just happened to answer the phone. I set up some insane auto-payment plan, with my bank account number, and the first payment of which was supposed to hit my bank account this morning. I am well aware of the consequences of student loan default - but I have another month to pay off Sallie Mae the actual amount owed. I was a fool to give them my bank account info, but nevertheless EdFund is trying to perpetrate a fraud. I'm alerting my bank and calling EdFund back. My loans are a problem, but not as much of a problem as EdFund claimed.

I received a call from this number.  She says that she is a through-call operator and then no one is there.  I stopped answering calls to numbers I did not recognize.

This number has been calling me consistantly on Saturdays. A voicemail is left fo Ed Fund, but is a recording. Sound exactly the same every time. They ask me to contact them regarding important information about my educational future. Then goes on to give business hours that are of course Monday through Friday.

I just received a call on my cell phone from this number. I did not answer it. A message was left and when I listened it was Ed Fund, an organization dealing with student loans. Of course not even 5 minutes later they were calling for me on my work phone. A big no no! as far as I'm concerned. I answered it this time and spoke to a nice young lady who took off my work number from their database.

This number calls almost every day!  They never leave a message... so I have no idea who it is.  I wish they would just stop calling already!  How do these people get our cell phone numbers?  I guess it is from California, but...?

I kept getting calls from this number over the last several days.  I usually don't answer numbers I am unfamiliar with.  Twice I have answered, said "Hello?", and then they hang up about 10 seconds later without ever saying anything.  Is it a person?  Or a machine?  I have no idea, but it's getting on my nerves

I answered, and the woman on the line asked if she could speak with ..... (she had my name).. I told her she was speaking to him.. She then just stayed on the line saying nothing.. This lasted for about 10 seconds.. I just hung up after that.
