SCAM!! 916-623-5482

my husband also received a phone call from this person, then after my husband called me at work and told me about this phone call about 10 minutes after we hung up our phone called i received a call at work the only bad thing for this caller is that i'm the receptionist for our place of work. he was a little surprised when i told him that every call that is comes into our company is recorded and if he calls to harass my husband i have his voice recorded and number on file so i will turn the phone call over to the police. he did not hesitate to hang up on me. so please beware of these kind of people and report it to the police.X

I have gotten over 8 calls from this number today and they call back to back , also they have called my job phone and I'm aksing for paper work for whom I owe , so now I'm telling them they have the wrong number .PLEASE,PLEASE whatever you don't validate any information to these people from what I hear these people are not from her and are using cell phones * threathen to come lock people up which is a big  A** SCAM!!! A***oles !!

These people are ridiculous.  They kept calling and leaving no message so I was sick of it and called them, knowing it is harrassment, and I told the Indian "attorney" that this was harrassment and I would report it and they need to take down my number and remove it from the list.  He actually asked me my # and acted as though he was writing it down.  That was about  4 days ago and I haven't heard anything yet but it is AM and they have plenty of time.  All I can say to all who are getting same is report it here but especially to the FCC and the FTC and the donotcall website!  Good Luck!

This was the same exact message left for me. It's a total scam. The only think I worry about is that they have my social security number and that's very scary.

He's still making calls, I have been receiving them since 3 days ago. 3-4 missed calls at once. Right away I knew it was a scam so I called back to he his information. Of course the only thing he said or thy I could understand was that it "wasn't my fathers company so don't call and tell at him" as he hung up on me.  Have added the number to my block list, hoping he cannot reach me again. I will be filling a complaint but Jesus get this dumb ignorant piece of s*** off of the streets and into custody where he belongs!! Fake a** Indian.

Just rec'd a call at 7:30 cst. It was from Isleton, CA.. Who calls at 6:30 pst. I told him that I couldn't understand him and he started to threaten me. I told him if he didn't stop the harassing phone calls I would turn him over to IRS Criminal Investigation for Money Laundering. I told him I would turn him over to my lawyer and they could take care of the threat. I hung up and they called right back. I didn't answer that time. Thanks for the info about the FTC. I'm sending a message to them right now as soon as I get off here. Thanks again. I started screaming at him and he still says the could get the law to come after me.

Guy called and claimed he was from the law office of Edward Maxwell.  He was so hard to understand that I had to ask him three times who he was - which made him angry.  He never made that clear other than "Miller".  When I told him I was a lawyer, he asked for the phone number of my client.  When I told him the name should be all he needed - he said, "call me back when you have the number" and hung up.  

Edward Maxwell seems to be an attorney with the State of California.  i called that office, but no return call yet.  These calls seem to be designed to scare people into giving him money.

I received a call this morning and the caller was asking me stupid questions and demanding me what I needed to do.   I hung up the phone. I'm wondering how this guy get my number.   Someone needs to put a stop to that number and identify who that person(s)  is.   It is called harrassment.

His name was Edward maxwell, he said that it was from a payday loan but the only loan I had is all payed off now he saying that if I don't pay I'm going to jail for 6 months, I just wish somebody can put a stop to this...

I just received the same call earlier today saying i have three criminal charges agaist me and they were going to send it to my job and tomorrow i was going to be arrested.

THIS F***king a** H*le has the nerves to call me @ 7:30am to tell me that i have 3 criminal charges against me and if i dont call him or my attorney dont call, he will send the proper authorities after me.

Same type phone call as described by everyone on this thread. Hard to understand, thick accent, threatening, must call back now. He claimed criminal charges had been filed against me.

this number left a  msg on my phone at 7:30 a.m.  It woke me up when I heard a voice talking for so long. I could not understand them but they did keep calling me by name.

Keep calling my number saying hes a lawyer and that I owe him 3000 dollars . After I told him I need to speak with someone I can understand he got mad and went to cursing at me about what I better do,So I told him he is being recorded he hung up ,Someone need to find out whats his problem and how he got my number?

I got the exact same scripted message from him "Mark Robinson" he called yesterday and my caller ID said "emergency call" and 2nd time "911". I am going to file a complain with my local attorney general and california's also

I am going through this right now.  I have gotten several harrassing and threatening phone calls from two gentlemen with heavy foreign accents. The are coming from these numbers: 916-623-5482/83 saying that I borrowed money from pay lenders and have not paid it back.  I have not borrowed any money from pay lenders nor am I interested in doing so. Someone has taken my identity via my subscrition to the lenders association via the internet. I have had to close out my bank account for fear of any further illegal actions that may take place by these foreigners since they claim to have access to my bank account, they even named my bank.  
I have discussed this with my bank who reported that no one has deposited money to my account or withdrawn any in the state of Pennsylvania so now the question remains, who or did someone open an account in my name in another state and what proof did they provide as identity??

I know this is a scam. How do I make them STOP???

This number is callin g my cell and my office.

The scammers at (916) 623-5482 are still calling me at home and now at work today even though I have contacted the PA State's Atty office, FBI, FTC and my ID theft investigator.  What else can I do?

We don't need this kind of phone calls.

this India guy keep calling me, and if I don't answer then he call my job, saying put sam on the phone so how can I stop this!! this is really embarrassed

So I just got a call from this guy.. is there really nothing they can do?  He named off all my information, social security number, bank account number, address, work phone number, etc.  A bit freaked out

I have been receiving harrassing phone calls from this phone number. This man named Donald with very thick indian accent called me and told me that my husband had better call him right back. I told him that there was no one here by the name he was looking for and he called me a liar and then preceeded to call me back 8 times in a row and I kept hanging up on him!

this guy has called me a few times and i never answered. but one time i decided to and acted as "my assistant" and told him he could reach me at my direct line... then gave him the phone number to the white house lol    #owned a sand nig

I just had the same thing happen to me. He called me seven times in a row this morning and then left a message. I couldn't understand him.  Thank you so much for posting this information!

I was awakened a short time ago at around 7:45 this morning by the following number, which came up as Iserton CA.  Male caller left voicemail that I could barely understand due to his thick accent (said name was John Price)  Claims to want me or my attorney of record to contact as soon as this message was received.  Said not to disregard this message and if I didn't call back all he could do was wish me good luck on any situation that befalls me.

No company name was provided on the voicemail and so far I'm not finding one online to match the phone number.
