Record the call and lrt them know you are recording the call then report to the federal trade commission. Also let them know what you are doing with ftc hang up you should not get another calla

Got the same kind of call from the number 916-304-3124, Left a message first about something about a lawyer and stuff. I called back and they were saying something about how I took out a payday loan which is illeagal in Ca and I was going to be arrested with in an hour. What kind of people are these? They didn't even know what kind of loan I had or anything. If this is a new kind of spam it's sick if you ask me!

Hey Debbie this is Miguel and I got scammed the same way because I thought someone used my name in the past and never paid the loan back and I pre-loaded $200 on a prepaid credit card and found out an hour later that it was a scam, this really put me in a bind with my finances.  Beware of these jerks they need to be stopped immediately!

A call from 916 304 3124  gives phone number of 916 629 4661.   has badly broken english with very hard middle easter or indian accent.  wishes me and attorney Good luck in what happens.  have had these types of calls before from an atorneys office supposedly and contacted attorneys office via email and calls had stopped.  now they are coming again all times of the day, and he claims his name is David  Cloud  beware.........

I had a call from the same type of person  indian or something like that bad english very slow speaking wishing good luck if they do not hear from an attorney  but he gave me 9166294661 and then said i repeat and gave me 9163043124  i don't know and his name is david cloud

I was left a msg  from someone too with a heavy middle easern accent and told me if I didn't call him back he wished me luck too. I nvr called him back just reported the number to the ftc. cuz he called my cellphone and cell numbers are private. I know im an operator for verizon

I got a call from this person who said his name was David Clark. Heavy Indian accent, hard to understand and somewhat threatening. I tried to call back, no answer. Sounds like a scam intended to scare you into acting on this phone call. He should be found out and arrested.

These guys called me too. I called back and some dude tried to act all professional telling me the usual BS about three federal charges and how I will be arrested within 24 hours. I acted really scared and asked him if there was anything I could do to avoid being arrested.  He told me the only way out was to wire $900 to his client by Western Union within the hour. I started laughing and told him I paid less than that to bang his mother. He became incensed and started telling me it wasn't a joke and I would be arrested as soon as we hung up.  I just sat there telling him how good his mother was in bed until he hung up on me. I haven't heard from them since.

I have been receiving phone calls from 19166294661 and 18183940373 and the persons that calls has a very heavy Indian accent and they say that I must call them or my attorney must call and if they do not receive my call then they wish me good luck and I will be arrested

I'm having the same problem with this a***ole. I did a lot of research. He has obtained everyone's info thru a pay day advance lending company. His phone number is registered thru magic jack which is internet phone. Its a scam. I don't know how to stop it yet. I would just ignore the calls and don't answer them. Yoy xan see if ur telephone carrier has a call block feature and I would also keep an eye on your credit report. He will be caught if everyone reports this prick to the attorney generals office as well as news agencys.

It is time to get the local police involved when they start threatening physical violence.  Call 911 when they do.

Same caller and threats but he is no using the name mark victor and mark williams and that he is representing cash advance usa. I did some research for myself and all of you guys. He is using magic jack ( internet telephone) and has ilegally obtained thousands of ssn and other personal info and also claiming to be an attorney for the sole purpose to extort money from us. He is threating that we will have a warrant of arrest if not paid by 10 am the following day. This is extortion idenity theft harassment and so on. NOBODY CAN GO TO JAIL FOR OWING A DEBT EXCEPT CHILD SUPPORT. my advice is he calls again dont answer or answer and hang up.

They called me and I have no idea who they are- if they are a reputable organization they should be sending certified documentation to my residence not my home office

this person calling my job repeately, couldn't hardly understood, only "attorney" and almost treating. don't have idea what he was talking about.

I received several calls from this number with treating messages. so i decided to start calling them back every two minutes with the same crazy calls. until finally the idoit asked me to please stop calling him. I'm still calling him. because I've asked him several times to stop calling me. but he kept doing it.

I just got a call from this a**hole. Telling me that I have 3 charges aginst me and need to have my attorny contact him before he turns my info over to my local authorities and my states attorny. Or I could pay him $400.00 in the next hour and he would hold off on sending my paperwork. He said I have 3 charges against my social security number. Had me in a huge state of shock and then proceeded to be rude to me. Put me on hold and I could hear him speaking to someone else asking them if they were an idiot. Came back on the line and was rude to me again and told me I had an hour to get him his money, and if I didn't I would be arrested today.  He knew my email address as well.  Thanks to my friend telling me it was a scam, I didn't fall for it, but to bad I got myself all worked up first.  This guy said he was Russel Miller and attorny in Sacramento, CA.  And my pay day loan was with CashAdvance, which I don't have a loan with these people.  WTF??? This needs to stop!!!

i have had it with these people. called me 3 times, and will not disclose who they are but they say they work for an attorney in sacramento named russell miller, who happens to be a criminal defense attorney. i told the third caller that it was a scam and he said that because i had an attitude, althought he had my account info up, he was choosing not to discuss the matter with me and i should just see what happens and thank you for calling. this was after numerous voicemails threatening "what will unfold" in the future.

Mid east accent. Threaten to throw me in jail have me fired about some lawsuit in California (never been to california)... it is annoying but so fun to mess with them. Can't let it get to you.. if they keep calling after I tell them not too, I go on to my cell account and block the number. Have fun with these fools, but keep an eye on the bank accounts.

They keep calling harassing me on my cell and at work. Trying to get my personal information and said I'm gonna get arrested. Lol arrested all I do is work and home I don't even go anywhere so I need these scamming/hackers to stop contacting me

Today my son got a a phone call from this phone number.  Was threatend that if he did not send $300 on the next half hour that he would be arrested with 3 felonies
And they will be calling his job. Two weeks ago he call a pay day loan. But he never got the loan. He googled the phone number while I was on my way to help him. He was told to go to Walgreens and put the $300 on one of those loaded credit cards and then call mark victor  back with the code on the back of this pre loaded card.  When I got there he was looking at everyone complained that this was a scam. The guy tried to call back my son. My son disregarded  the calls coming in. In 10 min. Our boss called and said someone was calling about my son and wanted to know where he was. He explained to our boss what happened. When I got to work I showed our boss the googled number. He is trying to call Ma. State attorney office. Beware of this scam!

I got called from the same number today. Left me a voicemail with one name and answered with a name of Mark Victor. Told me i was being brought up on criminal charges and that i would be arrested today and put in jail. Everytime i got angry and demanded answers to which company it was he would hang up. I calmed down and tried to resolve the issue out of court and he told me it wasnt an option, told me they  would suspend the investigation if i got 300 dollars to him within 35 minutes. He told me that investigators would go to my work and that i would have a warrant for my arrest. I called a laywer and he told me it sounds like a scam. I also called the attorney generals office of ma . This is such bs that this can happen to us. We to put a stop to it. The numbers that i got from this fraud are 916-629-4661 and 916-538-0790. Please someone give us answers and help for this issue.

Harrasing phone calls threatening me. Message was If I dont call them back or my attorney immediately than all he could say was good luck for what was about to fall on me.

I am having the same problem with this number. I have no idea how they got my number but they have been harassing me for several days and I do not know how to get them to stop.

I've also got a phone call from 916-629-4661 and threatend me with legal action and jail but I called local law enforcement too and get no conformation of any such thing !

Someone from 9166294661 keeps calling me from some business, I could bearly understand what
he was saying because he had a very strong indian accent, I believe that he must have acquired my information from a company that I gave important information to. The problem seem to have started
when I would not get a payday loan with them. Therefore, somehow they had my work information and called my job asking for me and then left a voicemail threatening to be a lawyer and saying that I
owed a loan and for me not to disregard returning the call, As I tried it call this number back, the person
answering keeps hanging up
