I got a call also, saying my loan hasbeen approved. I asked the man to fax me a copy of my application. He said he would, but then called back to tell me he wasnt able to fax it to my phone number. The two men i spoke with had very heavy fillipino accents with their claimed names to be Jerry Wilson and Lance Brown. This is a scam. Beware.

Got two messages from this number (916-706-5017) saying my loan packet has been approved. He has a strong accent--his name is Mike from Cashland USA--I think!. I haven't applied for a loan so it must be a scam. Be careful!

I received a message on my home phone from some foreigner on 4/3/2014 stating he was Jeff Washington with the Federal Law Offices, Law Firm. He spoke with the worse English accent ever. He informed me I needed to contact his office immediately the very second I received his message. He stated he was calling me because "we have received a legal case against you under Chapter 9, Section 9... inaudible... fraud". He continued to read my social security number and say before he submits my ssn to homeland security for investigation and before he contacts my employer about this matter he wanted to give me the details of this case and let me know what the case is all about.

They call me at work . When I call the number back. I ask what kind of company they were they hung up on me and when they pick up they just said hello

Im pretty sure this is the same kind of scam thats happened to me before. They call and say they are with a law office and that you owe $5000 or some ridiculous amount of money to a pay day loan company that doesnt exist and that if you don't pay it you will get arrested.
