Have know Idea who they are!

They have called here about 5 times. They speak poor English and when you ask for supervisor or someone that can speak more clearly they hang up.

Just a call from someone saying they were from a internet security company (didn't catch name).  said that my computer has been showing suspicious activities for the last couple weeks.  got me to check out netstat to try and get me worried about the foreign ip addresses. seeing as I was a network administrator i know that depending on my program there could be foreign ip adresses.  if you get this you can type out netstat -nao at the command prompt (start button and click on run...or just press and hold microsoft key and press r....type cmd in the box and press ok)

this will show you a pid number at the far right column.  go into your task manager and click on view when in the processes tab and then click on view...from there you can select PID which should be at the top.  go back to the command prompt and remember the pid number for one that you are worried about.....go back to the task manager and look for the same pid....most culprits are chrome and a program that you installed...if there is one you don't understand get someone that knows what they are doing for further assistance. it may still be a program that is supposed to be installed, so don't start uninstalling things if you don't know what you are doing.  if all else fails just take your computer to your local computer store to get it checked out.

Stated he was calling from Norton software in Sacramento, though his Indian accent was hard to get through at times.  Why can't the DNCL put these a***oles in a Norton's lawsuit- as Norton is the net beneficiary of any business these clowns drum up?
