Called my cell at 5:47 PM on Sunday evening. Did not leave a message. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. If it's important, they will leave a message. Then I decide if I want to respond!!

Get these a couple of times a day; slightly diff numbers. Tonight was 916-900-3649, ID read "Member Services". Let it ring; no message left of course!

Feed 'em fish!! Tell them you just had a sex-change operation and want to personally meet with the caller. Tell them they have a sexy voice and you really, really want to hook up. If they bite, make sure you know address of a Starbucks located at least 20 miles away!

Got all my family's mobile phones together and repeatedly called them back at the same time. Maybe it will tie up some of their lines and keep them from annoying a few folks trying to sleep.

got this call under 20 min after getting robo cal from 714-559-4180. 916 number wanted to give me a home loan. LMAO! I already have 3.2 interest. Doubt they can beat it. SCAM LOAN CALLERS!

Same thing, hangup. The freakish part is that this same number has called at two houses, different cities and counties in Northern California, two different phone numbers and names! Talk about feeling like being followed! Will call from a "blocked" location to see if anyone answers, and will give update.

I live in Sacramento, it is local, so I called, goes to recorded message.. if you want to be placed on the do not call list for the number that called you please press one now... I let it repeat untill it hangs up on me.. phone number goes through Windstream Communications, never heard of it until now.. suggestion contact Windstream and file a complaint with them..

I keep getting calls from this number and it shows up on my caller ID as "Member Services". When my answering machine picks up, they just hang up. They never leave a message.

They will not stop calling. I have spoke to them numerous times and asked them to stop, but they refuse.
I have now gone to the Federal Trade Commission. They find the "do not call" list something they do not have to obey. They laugh when you mention it.

I've been getting these call for several years.
This what I've found to be pretty effective.
I made a list of spam callers phone numbers and when one of them call, I answer with
AN INDIAN ACCENT AND SAY HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, AND I DO NOT INGAGE IN CONVERSATION WITH THEM. This drives them crazy and they hang up.
Mission accomplished! Then they put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST. !!!! I win.
Now, those call have dropped off a lot.
It works for me, Try it You'll like the results.

This call came in about 7:20 pm (dinner hour) and when I answered they hung up.
Every night I get this type of phone call to interrup the family activity from different numbers.

If you have Caller ID there is no reason to answer calls from numbers that you do not recognize. A legitimate company that needs to contact you will leave a message. I do not answer any of these unknown calls and the numbers usually stop calling after a few attempts and most never attempt a call again. I block or call forward the very few that just don't accept that I will not answer unknown calls.
