I received a letter from them today, they have the Sacramanto address as 1215 K Street, 17th Floor Sacramento, CA 95814. they call themselves "Annual Filing Division" they are so stupid because they sent me a same letter with different name called "Business Filing Division", just two days a part, they are a scam. Infact, they are faking a seal on the upper left corner to make it look like an official government letter!!! I cannot believe the government knows about them and they let them send a letter that says "Avoid penalties, Fines and Suspension"!!!

Same here. Throw it away or report them but whatever you do don't pay them. The best part is they claim they will charge you $25.00 if you bounce a check. Wow! Really?

When I called this phone number a lady answered and said to leave a message and then hung up. It looks like a rip off to me!

I mistakenly paid them and then got another letter for a different amount a month later. I contacted the Secretary of State's Office. I wrote the fake company and asked for a refund. They told me I had mailed my check to some other company.

I also received the fake letter. Less then a week from the time I received the notice until the date it is do is always a signal. The state gives you at least 30 days to pay when they send notices.

TOTAL Scam. I too called the Secretary of State. They told me that they have been told to tell callers to call the Attorney Generals Office - because they are working on it. I almost fell for it, but their letterhead doesn't look quite right. Just because they have a downtown SAC address doesn't mean they are related to the government. READ the notice, "filing on your behalf" is just one of the many giveaways.

Then, I called the number and the voice somewhat doesn't feel right. Then I check their number on google, then i ound this page. There you go. I was wondering where did they get my LLC# from???

I work for a business law attorney in the central valley. I have had several clients call after they've received this letter freaked out! NEVER give these folks any money -- You won't be able to get it back. It only costs $25 to file a Statement of Information, and checks are ALWAYS payable to the Secretary of State. I just hope somehow the word gets to new business owners! Contact the Attorney General to complain: 800-952-5225
