What nonsense! You really believe what you're saying?

Comcast really should add more than 12 numbers we can block. Like 12 is great, but my cell phone can block unlimited numbers will the Call Control App.

Twice I have answered a call from this number just to ask them not to call any more and both times the caller hung up without responding when I asked to be removed from their list. I will submit a complaint on the FCC website but it sounds from the comments above I will be wasting my time.

Do not call list is a waste of time.  Block the number through your carrier, at a cost, or get a call id phone.

Don't need to be pestered with these kind of calls, so QUIT CALLING !!!!!!!!!

I got the same call and it doesn't even have an option to put you number on the "do not call" list, and got same issue as the rest when I dialed the number.  It's simply an outgoing only number and can't be called into.

So I noted everything I could and called it in to the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 (then 1, then 3 to get to right department).  Gave them a full description... even though I had to give my name, number, and address, at least the government already has that information so I'm not giving it to someone who'll misuse it.  Didn't give my cell phone number though cause there's a reason why I don't get scam thru that... cause I don't give it to just anyone.

Literally tho only way to actually do something about these scam artists that don't give you the option of opting out is to complain to the government... especially to your local representative.  Everyone has these calls and if this isn't something where we can all find common ground then all truly is lost.  After all, very few things are more precious to us all than our privacy.

These Maggots are terrible... I have registered all Cell and Home Numbers with The National Registery..... But they are still calling...... I have been at my wits end.... So I decided to turn the tables and not be the Victim anymore.... When they call  I say I am so glad you called.... Then I grab my AIR HORN and blow it in the phone !     Bet they heard that !......   So Americans grab your Air Horns and Let them have it !!!!

These people along with other similar numbers call frequently.  Same story....a recorded message about lowering my interest rates.  I've asked several times to have my number removed.  They still call...only now, I press 1 to speak to a rep and when they answer I say, "If you just stayed in high school or got your GED, you wouldn't have to work at a job like this...your mother must be very proud."  Then I hang up.  At least I'm not the one that goes away from the call annoyed!  :)

I have been receiving these calls over and over again.  I don't answer them, but still they keep on coming.  I've had enough.

They have called my home repeatly, and when I hit 1 to tell the person on the other line to take me off the list, two different women told me they do not have a list and that i called them. They were very rude and i just want them to quit calling my home.

Caller ID said Queens, NY???  Just another scam from card holder services wanting to lower your interest rate.  

FYI, filing complaints never does anything.

Try this:  interrupt 'Rachel's' message by pressing the "1" key briefly to get a rep to answer.  Before they answer,  press down on the "1" or any other number key continuously for 15-20 seconds.  Then hang up.

I keep getting repeated calls from this number among others with the same message and they are rude and hang up on me.  I've REPEATEDLY asked for them to stop calling and put me on the do not call list and usually before I can finish they hang up.  From now on I'm going to keep a list of days and times and the number that calls and will hand this over to my lawyer for harassment.  My husband is even getting them on his CELL PHONE!  This is beyond ridiculous!

Message with no caller ID (other than the number) that said this was my second warning about my credit card charges -- and to press 1 for more information, which I did. I got music for a while and then an answering machine message with a woman's voice apologizing for not being there. I left a scathing message about being on the Do Not Call list, to quit calling me, and that I'm going to report them to the Federal Communications Commission.... Not that it will do any good. Arrgh! So annoyed!!!

I live in Michigan and my mother lives in Texas. She recieved a letter saying I was to appear in court in Queens, New York. The paper work said I opened a cab door on some guy riding a bike.  I've never lived at my mothers, and I've never been to NY. On top of that the letter was sent in my maiden name. Now I'm getting these calls from this 917 number, the Caller ID reads Queens NY. So I went and googled the number and this website was the first thing to pop up. When I called the number back it said not in service. If they call back they're going to get an ear full.

I pressed 1 for more information.  They don't even answer when you do that!  Amazing.  I have asked repeatedly to be removed from their internal call list and yes, I am also on the DoNotCall list (not that it is worth a poot).

You should ALWAYS report these calls to the national Do Not Call Registry.  If you've not yet registered with them, you should do so immediately.  Easy to do.
I've received these same phony calls from at least 5 or 6 different numbers from all over the country.  One poster said you can buy the initial phone message ("Rachel's"?) from e-Bay.  If so, it's outrageous.

Just got this call from them.  Hung up on me.  When I called back to complain, I got a message that said there was no such number!!!  This is about the fifth phone number from which i've received this same credit card call.  I'll put them on my Do Not Call complain list also.

Just got a call from "Rachel" when I hit 9 for a live operator got some jerk who said it was impossible to take my number off list unless either I qualify or don't qualify by answering ?s  Said Ok & made up answers to his ?"s  Ilet's see what happens.  Maybe if we all give false info in ans to their ?'s it will stop.  Just never say "YES" you don't know how they are recording your answers and you might be agreeing to something you don't know about.  I don't understand why I should "Have" to answer any ? I don't want to.  Where is the do not call list?????
