That c*** sucker keeps phoning me, but he apparently had a medical crisis and now a lady by the name of marjorie storm had taken over for him and calls daily.  If I even meet these two a***oles in a dark alley only one person will be walking out.

Got a call from a Murray Chalmers. Now using the number 868-486-2330. Supposed to be out of Trinida.

I have gotten numerous calls & called ATT to block the number.  Of course, for only $4.99 they will do that.  Perhaps ATT & scamming.....get someone to call & annoy u on the cell & they may get many to sign up for their service to block the calls!

Received a call saying they had received "offer" for gems I purchased in 1999 (From Windsor Cairns - now in liquidation from 2006) Tel Number I asked for is 1868 486 2330, name of company : Amalgamated Auctioneers and Liquidators Inc.  1 Carlton Center,  San Fernando. Trinidad.
I guess they will ask for money soon??

Today, the 6th of May 2012, at 17.48 Israel time I got twice (at 17.47 also) the call from this no.
As far I grasp they wanna to trick me?!?! Never!!! But may be this few digits will help any service to catch them.

I had this caller too. It is absurd.  I couldn't call back when the line cut

I simply do not pick up phone calls that are not recognizable, 99% of people if they have something important to say would leave a message on an answering machine. These types of scams are unfortunately common in Canada. Never give any information over the phone and if you don't remember applying of a loan then don't bite into it. If it sounds too good to be true- it is.

I got a call from this number. I'm in Canada. It was my uncle. I didn't ask him (yet) but I'm guessing it is either some sort of phone card that shows the same generic number on call display that is attached to the phone card or its a payphone. I saw the number call my house so I didn't answer at first. I was googling the number on my phone when this site showed up...as I was reading, my cell phone rang. I answered it angrilly, ready to scream the crap outta the person on the other end...but it was my uncle :)

Yes, do not do business with Westminister Auctioneers and Liquidations Inc. For one they spell Westminster wrong. They can't tell you where they are incorporated or what their address is. It is the same old gem scam from the 1980s. They have obtained names of people who bought precious gems in the past and ask if you still hold them and would like to sell. Unbelievably, in this economy they come up with offers for your gems within days and then send you a poorly written "contract". There is no buyer, the whole scam plays out so you will Western Union them the 5% good faith deposit which is never mentioned. They are good in that they try to build faith slowly by following up daily with just a little more information each day. I would not be surprised if this guy, Murray Chalmers is actually the same scammer from the 80s - Irving Dobrutsky. If you were ever did business with Can Euro or Tom O'Day this

Someone called me from it a few times and so I answered... it was my friend calling from a payphone.

this time they are using the name wall street lending firm. they say im approved for a $5000 loan with only $352 down for so called insurance premiums. Beware, thanks to everyone else whos posted their experience with these scammers.

I was also called and it was for $5000 but I'd need to put up $626 I too think it is a fraud.

We got a call from this number and it was a friend from ONT. calling- however, I don't know if the phone company- Telus or whoever scrambled an ONT number accidentally on our call-disply making it look like a NY number with enumerous scams attached to it- but, none-the-less here it was and yet- it was someone I knew. I got a call from this # on my cell phone, then they turned around and called my house phone. I did not answer either call. They left no message with either call.   Tried to call the # back but it was given a busy signal.  I am listed on the "Do Not Call List" but evidently it does not make any difference to these callers.  They are scammers!

They now call themselves Superior Finance Services based out of Oxford, AL and they are saying they are with the bbb and have a webite under www.superiorbank.com but do not believe them.  They will scam you!!!!

This number 1-917-281-1060 called me today and I answered and they were asking for me and I said that I was a baby sitter and they told me to call a 1-877-530 number which I forgot the last 4 digits . And that I was accepted for a loan and to call back. The number comes up as 1-917-281-1060 and I can't call back
