i received the same message from this company and i decided to call back but there was no John that worked there. I talked to a lady named Karen and i asked about the work that they supposedly had  in the ares and they also asked for money ..... i decides to investigate and found this page....... its a scam ! don't throw your money away people be careful and investigate thoroughly!!

I got the same call from John. I called back and spoke to Carmen. She told me the same thing lots of work in my area Then she asked for the $99 upfront.  As I suspected I checked on the Internet and found this. Gotta love technology! BTW, they changed their number it is now 312-492-4996. Not sure if it's a scam but it sounds like it.

gave them the $99.00 they have been sending leads via e mail for about a month responded to numerous e mails as to give a contractors bid for thje jobs posted all of which were residendial not bank forclosures never got one response total; scam in my book!

I love this site. I see these kind of numbers on the ID and didn't even bother to answer. They left no message.

I quit.  I worrked there I think maybe I talked to you. I don't know if it is a scam, but since I've been there We have canged our name 4 times.  What does that tell you.  I worked there since March and there alot of people I've never heard a word from.  So I don't know.  If  you siggn up let me know how it goes.

Got a call from John at 917-284-9286. Overbooked and need my company to help. I didn't call back - I searched the internet for the phone number and got this site.

Just received a VM from a legit person.  Overbooked looking for subcontractors.  Total Scam.

They keep calling me - it`s a recording and it is unsolicited.  Probably a scam

Got call from (914)284-9285 talked to Stacey Miller. They needed  subcontractors for bank foreclosed homes. $99  for background check, she made it sound legit and I could use the work over the winter so I did it now can't get intouch with anyone.

got the same call from John wanting 99 bucks for background check and only needed my last 4 didgets of my ss# looked like scam to me. glad i waited and did some looking into. also got my # from craigslist.

Some here from numbers 917-284-9286 and 917-284-9357 and names in the phone John and Debra. $99 for background check without asking for SSN? Be aware

Thank God for the Internet! John called with some work and suggested that I press one or return his call to speak to one of the girls @ 917.284.9286. He called from 917.284.9285. Upon returning the call I noticed that the staff wasn't so quick to answer my questions and totally became rude. So I decided to search engine the phone numbers and bingo...my instincts were correct. This is bad business and you should stay far, far away.

THEY HAVE CALLED ME TWICE ALSO(JOHN,STACEY) AND TOLD ME THE SAME STORY ABOUT OVER BOOKING WORK IN MY AREA AND THEY HAVE 6 MONTHS OF WORK AND i COULD MAKE FROM $200 TO $800 PER HOUSE .......WHY WOULD I GIVE YOU MY ACCOUNT INFO FOR A BACK GROUNDCHECK AND I can pick one up and scan it to you .......lol

Guy named "John" Called  and said that they have plenty of work for AC techs in Arizona. He told me I could make over $1000.00 a day in work. All I needed to do was give them a credit card number for a back ground check. It sounded so bogus I just hung up the phone. I looked up this #917-284-9286 and saw these comments on this web site. I think they obtained my number from craigslist. This sounds totally like a scam and whoever "John" can burn in hell for all I care for.

DEFINITELY a scam. Been around for awhile too. They pester me via email as well.

They asking for credit card to back ground check for $99 and when you give them the card you can't get them. do not fall for that they are scam. she told me her name was summer. Hes gave me this number 8883618672 Ext 7024

Received message stating, "We overbooked work in our area and needed help to complete." I called John back and never got an answer.

Finally talked to a representative and after a 15 minute conversation about all the work they had in our area she dropped the bomb. We need to give them money for a background check. I told her we a fully bonded, licensed and insured company having been in business for over 20 years. They still wanted their money for a background check.

These people are a SCAM looking to make a quick dollar. If you get their call don't waste your time to call them back.

Work source has also used these number 917-728-4928 which is now not in service and there toll free 888-361-8672 gives you a recording.

We also received a call from them spoke to Nikki. Later call her back and got VM , she later call me back.

They appear to be selling the supposed background checks, which gives you "access to their online job listings". Also, at least in California, the only way for a company to do a legal background check it with your written consent, which means it can NOT be requested legally online, and they MUST give you a copy if you request one.
   
      Since their webpage is ONLY for people who they call looking to subcontract. Any legitimate service would pay any fees themselves, then take it out of your first paycheck...

Yep, left a message saying they need help in the area.  I wouldn't trust them without evidence they are a service company.  Perhaps a blood sample or DNA scan for verification.  Got to make sure they aren't the boogie men.  To many scams out there.  Sadly, just like the scammers, Google will call businesses to verify info without telling you their identity.  However, Don't think this was a Google rep .....

Just picked up a VM from this number as well - they seem to be making the rounds.

I called  and talk to a lady named karmen who I talked to ten minutes previously but when i called back i got disconnected.so I called back again and another lady said Karmen  just went home. I would like to know if this is a scam.!!!!!!

Message on my company phone about work in our area. If interested call this number. Did not get a person, just a recorded message. Definitely a scam.
