Had a series of odd calls today, back-to-back, including this number. But I never answer unrecognizeable calls. And none of these numb nuts left messages. So fine...go ahead and add me to Interpol's Most Wanted. LOL.

I got a call from a similar person today different number 973-910-4639.  Same deal said that they confiscated hydrocodone from the Dominican Republic and were going to arrest me.  Guy was spanish and it definitely sounded fishy.  I am pissed becuse I don't know how he got my number or my old address where I use to work.  I feel like calling him back and messing with him.

Sarah O'Connor?  LOL - have you ever watched the Terminator?  Don't fall for that crap.  She's NOT legit and they are NOT with the FDA.  I believe they are trying to sell prescription drugs without a prescription.  Agent Jackson is now Agent Johnson.  My guess is that they were looking for a common name to use that couldn't be traced... just one step away from AGENT SMITH!

I have called her back many times just to plague her and either no-one answers, or a Federal Agent "Jackson" tells me to call back and he hangs up.  He doesn't sound professional, sort of off the street and I believe a bunch of them are working together to defraud people.  If Barbara Gibbs had someone ready to pick up my money within 30 minutes, then, I don't know where you are located, but I am in Western Washington State, so she must have several accomplishes on the ground at various locations.  It might be a very lucrative scan, especially if they are targetting seniors which I am.

Gosh, I wish some government entity would look into this.  This I think might be a big scam outerfit.

I have reported to the Washington Attorney General.

I received a call from a woman attempting to convince me she was wih the FDA.  She said a package that had been shipped to my house was found to have drugs in it and that I was going to be arrested.  She knew my name and had an old address so I played with her for a while.  I asked her what I needed to do so I wouldn't be arrested and she said I had to pay a 3500 fine.  When I asked what would happen if I didn't pay, she informed me people were coming to my address to arrest me, and that I needed to get a "federal attorney" to represent me in court.  It was all so obviously fake but I know there has to be people foolish enough to fall for it otherwise she wouldn't still be in "business".  I was feeling playfull so I asked her if my trial would be at the U.S. supreme court and she said it would!  Man...some people are stupid.  When I told her there was no such thing as the "FDA police", she said I shouldn't worry because the appropriate agency would be coming to get me.  The only thing that bothers me about this was that she had my old address and she must've gotten it somewhere.  I'm not too worried because they can't do much with a name, a cell phone number, and an old address but it's still a little unnerving.  If you get a call from this number, hang up, and for god's sake don't give her any personal information!

I called one of my credit card companies and cancelled my card and asked them to issue a new one.  I also reported fraud alert on Experion who will also send out notices to the other two credit agencies.  It's a pain in the neck but you don't want to have your identity stolen.  She knows too much and has access to records that she should not.

I also called that 917 number and asked for Barbara Gibbs, one of her aliases, and was told she wasn't there.  I told the person who answered that her phone number was posted all over the internet and that Barbara Gibbs is inpersonating a federal officer and trying to extort money.  It's funny Barbara Gibbs has not tried to call me back; if she does, she'll get an earful; and it won't be nice!

Also got a call from that number claiming to be an FDA agent.  Was 80% sure it was an extortion call, but she did have some information that is not public, so I could not rule out that it was legit.  She didn't exactly sound right, however, which led me to believe it was extortion.  (For example, she said her name was "Sarah O'Connor" but clearly had a hispanic accent.)

These calls were not from the FDA.  The FDA doesn't arrest individuals over drug issues - thats the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency).

When the FDA inspects a business they don't call.  They just show up at the front gate.

No, I don't work for the FDA or the DEA.  I work for a pharmaceutical manufacturing firm.  I have assisted my employer with several FDA inspections.

Same phone call from a man with a heavy Dominican accent, left a voicemail, said he was Officer J Margis or Magis from the FDA, ext. 134, had a package in my name and a search warrant for my home. I have not ordered vitamins or anything by mail.

Prank Call
I was accused of ordering Vicodin from the Dominican Republic. I have memory problems so I asked her many questions until I was sure that her story wasn't adding up. Despite her threats that I was going to be appearing before a Grand Jury, I kept telling her that someone had played a trick on her and to go ahead and serve me with the search warrant she claimed to have. She threatened me some more with arrest, jail time, and agents coming to arrest me, but she never did get to the part about asking me for money.

I received the same call as everyone else...  I ordered natural products online for working out which you can now buy over the counter!!!     She wanted $10,000 from me and then said she would take $3300, I told her to call my lawyer... She even said it is illegal to buy online and I asked her why they were not raiding the local GNC store...  She was an idiot!!

That "woman" has tried to make contact with me about 10 times after the so-called deadline she gave me before the threatened raid.  She called my husband at home as well.  She needs to be charged with extortion and impersonating a federal official.  She said they had seized some drugs from the Dominican Republic!

A person saying she was officer Barbara Gibbs called and said that a 200lb package of hydrocodone had been seized and my name was on the package.  When I started laughing she said that she was going to have me picked up by law enforcement and hung up on me.

This lady is calling whre i work asking for my boss.  She says her name is Barbara Gibbs from the FDA and that she needs to talk to my boss because it's urgent.  She has a warrant to raid and search his home.  HAHA  If so, they would just do it and not be calling him to let him know.  Stupid scammers!

There was a lady that called and said that she would have the DA pick me up right now unless I paid part of the fine.  She said I had been ordering pharmaceutical products on line and it was illegal.  I had, but it was nothing illegal and it was years ago -- I'm thinking around five.  She also had my last name wrong.  I was divorced a few years ago and changed my name.  She said if I paid 10 percent of a the court costs she would give me a second chance.  The amount was $6,200 that she wanted me to pay in cash and have someone pick the money up from me personally.  Has anyone had this happen to them?
