I used to work for Goldman Walker & Associates which is not their real name. They are actually Legal Debt Mediation in Jacksonville, Florida. Their real contact information is 3990 Confederate Point Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210 (917) 336-6269. This company is owned by Brenda Tate and they are fraudlent.  I quit this "job" after two weeks due to their illegal activities. They say their investigators or that they are in contact with the Attorney General's office with what ever state you are located in which is not true. They also state that their will be a warrant issued in your name which is also false. All of the accounts they have are over the statue of limitations and they get most of their money from senior citizens or people who don't know about their illegal activities. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and the Labor department. I hope this information helps!

Debt is civil, not criminal, so there are *no* charges to be made.  Per the FDCPA, you should NOT pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter showing that (1) you owe a debt and that (2) your caller has the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this DV letter within five days of their first call is a violation of federal law.  More info here:

My mom received a call from an Amanda Black today asking for me to call her regarding 2 charges made against me and she left a case number. I waited until after business hours and called back to leave a message. I've been researching Goldman Walker and Associates and haven't been able to find any substantial information on them except for these posts. What should I do if this "Amanda Black" calls me back tomorrow? The number she left is 281.301.1638

These people are rude and totally unprofessional. Don't know how that got all of my personal information and call me with false allegations. Whoever behind this company need to be stop and continue reported to U.S. Attorney General Office. This company prey on individuals in hoping to solicit money from family, friends, etc. In making false claims.

I received a phone call from the same company Goldman Walker and Associates. They said they were going to file 3 third degree felony charges against me from a payday loan company. Some lady named Investigator Diane Watson  gave a ultimatum saying to pay them $1,000.00 in 2 hours or I would be arrested for check fraud. I immediately contacted my attorney, and she advised me to have them call her office. When I spoke with the so called "investigator" again I told her exactly what my attorney said, and she became irate, and hostile. The investigator then said "why cant you give her my number yourself." I then repeated to her the words my attorney told me. Sounding extremely puzzled and frustrated she asked me to have my attorney call her. I then asked her "what is the name of the company my attorney is calling" and she answered Goldman Walker and Associates in a dejected voice and hung up the phone.  The number she called from was a Texas number 281-891-3931

Same thing is happening to me the number is 330-646-4481.  Olivia green is her name and she is from New York.total scam!

I just received calls from 646-741-2095 stating they were from Goldman Walker and Associates and were going to file two felony charges against me if I didn't comply.  Said my file was going to the State Attorney's Office and I would be arrested immediately for theft by deception and check fraud.  First, the date they are claiming I took out the payday loans is so far back the statue of limitations has expired and second they are a collection agency that bought a debt.  Do not believe a word they say.  Verified with a police officer friend of mine that stated they are getting a lot of complaints about this and it is just a debt collector using illegal tactics.  When asked to send me something in writing or send me a fax they said they couldn't do that.  WHAT???  

Received numerous calls from 917.336.6270 a person (Walter Thomas) claiming to represent Goldman Walker & Associates that I have 2 charges against me from the state of Oregon for payday loans with wrong DOB says the amount is for $300.00 but can accept $150.00 to issue exoneration documents and keep it from going into a warrant. Wanted my debit/credit card info to hold the payment as good faith and would retrieve the money on date I specified. They claimed to have ran my information in the NCIC data base and found that I have NO BAD CHECK OR BANK FRAUD HISTORY. Beware not sure if they are legit did not give them any banking info told them I needed to research online their company.

I have received calls from this number for the past week now.  They say they are from Goldman, Walker and Associates.  They do not identify themselves as a debt collector.  The guy says that I have a pending litigation against me in the state of Iowa and it is important that I call him by end of business today.  i have contacted the court system in my county and do not have anything filed against my name.  I thought it was illegal for them to claim they were going to persue legal action against you....?  Also, when I look up the origin of the number, it says New York, but the Goldman, Walker and associates online is in Arizona.  Seems pretty fishy to me....
