I need to know who this number is.  They called saying they were a police department.

A man with a strong accent called and rattled off something about my husband and his company owing restitution and he must call this number immediately.  He called my husband by name (sort of, it was a bit comical hearing a strong Pakistani accent say our Spanish last name).  Further, my husband does not own a business.

Hi I have been having this same number calling me for last 3 or 4 months, The person who has been calling me is a Frank Miller, he got a hold of one of my friends number and call her last week to let her know that if I did not call me that the police would be at my door. I have not done anything thing. What should I do?

They called my cell phone (do not know how they got this information) and knew my first and last name. They were looking for my sister who does not even live near me and knew her first and last name. After many years of working in call centers I was able to tell that this was were they were calling from. They gave me a number to have my sister call back
917-338-2868, I *67 and called the number back and they answer the phone "How may I help YOu". You can not pretend to be a police officer and answer a phone in that manner. I will be reporting this.

If these people call you and threaten you..You should call this number and make a complaint 212-741-8401. If they get enough complaints something will be done about this. It is giveing the police a bad name by these punks claiming to be officers and they have the right to know if people are trying to threaten there integrity.

they just called my family, friends and myself threatening me....this is a total scam I am woring on getting address to call the police on them.

i too received a called from this number talking about the last 4 digits of my social security number but i have two names. officer mike walker(supposedly) and senior officer daniel smith (supposedly), i saying that i owe them money. does this sound familiar.
