Yup - same scam, Bill pretending to be from the DEA. However, this jerk didn't like me hanging up on him. He called back to try and convince me it's the real deal, I'm in hot water. What a jerk!
I put this phone number on my new best friend, the *60 service from AT&t. Call blocking!

Got a phone message from 'detective' Bill Anderson, with the #97 saying he is part of an ongoing drug investigation.
I've had half a dozen other calls from the same individual over the past several months, from other numbers. The officer's name and number always change. The 'voice' does not.
Relative to earlier phone numbers, others report he tries to extort money, saying if they do not give him money immediately, someone will come other to arrest them. OF course, no one ever shows up to make an arrest.
About 5 or 6 years ago I did order some medications, online, which is how they got my name and number.
if you get a call from this man or this number, IGNORE IT and do not lose any sleep over it. What this person is doing is very illegal and no real officer would do such a thing.
