Their messge: confirm address to receive free $200 gift card by calling the number. I have replied by calling the number and sending a text asking them to stop texting me. When I called the number its a recording and noone answers.

ITs one more WalMart gift card scam. There are at least 2 variations.
1) They ask for credit card details so they can charge you a small shipping and handling fee. They take the card number and spend all of your money. This one is illegal.
2) They ask you to sign up for a Shopper's Advantage club or some other club. The club costs $49/month. It takes months for you to get the the club membership stopped. In that time the membership will cost you more than the value of the card. This is legal but its not a good use of your money. .

It was a text telling me I won 2 cards (WalMart and Visa). It requested my shipping address to send the cards. It said to call (888) 210 9187, It said to reply STOP to opt out and evidently was by a company or individual with initials DNC.
