I received a call from this number on my cell. No message, nothing!  Have no idea who this is and if you don't leave a message.. don't really care who it is!

They are calling from a cell phone based in New York.

Someone calling themselves 'Cardmember Services' offering to consolidate the debt on all my credit cards.  I've never had a credit card.

When I told them I'm on the Do Not Call list and to remove my number from their call list, 'Cynthia' couldn't hang up on me fast enough.

These scammers are after your private information, especially credit card numbers and social security numbers, and I can just imagine what they do with that info!  : (    Make sure NOT to give them any kind of information!

DO NOT CALL BACK THIS NUMBER, BECAUSE THEY CAN PICK YOUR NAME FROM THE CALL ID AND NUMBER, THEY WILL HANG AND BE RUDE, BUT THEY HAVE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER, TO GET MORE INFO ON YOU AND BECOME YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE. THEY WILL SEARCH FOR YOUR OLD ACCOUNT AND BUG YOU ABOUT THEM. SO DO NOT CALL BACK AND GIVE ANY INFO. IF I FIND OUT ANY MORE, I WILL POSTED.

Getting a lot of these. We don't answer, maybe they will get the message that they are wasting their time.

We've been getting A LOT of these "lower your interest rates now" calls and it's been FOREVER that we've been getting them.  I've filed complaints and am getting quite tired of them.  Makes me want to close all our credit cards!

They keep calling and leave a message. I press 1 to be deleted-but they keep calling. Anyone know how to report this to the authorities?

they called my house, no message left.  My  phone numbers are registered on the do not call lists.

Just got the same call as the ones aboveI am so sick of them call of all hours of the night and day. When you try to call back there call box is full. Can't they do anything on this? Survey call my butt I than assk me of cards and who I owe too.

Short of a lawsuit, in the United States, I would report the number to the national Do Not Call registry website and give full accounts and details of the call as possible. Get in touch with local law enforcement as well; they may be aware of the scam.

Outside U.S.: contact the appropriate authorities.

Just got ANOTHER call from this number.  Always my last chance, but never really my last chance as they will call again tomorrow.  Pressed 1 and the idget who answered the phone hung up before I could finish telling them to stop calling me.  Gonna get an airhorn and blast them next time.  I've reported it several times, but they still call.

Blow a whistle in their ear...they get the idea soon enough!!!

a blank vmail from them today.  getting several of these a day from a constantly changing numbers, despite being on do not call registry.

Same thing happens when they call me.  Every time it's, "This is your last chance to lower your credit card interest rate" so when I finally press one to tell them to stop calling me, they hang up.

The loser(s) called me earlier today but I never answer any calls whom I don't know the number. Best bet is to answer the phone without saying "hello" and let them wonder what's going on. Always good to stretch out the call as long as possible just to waste THEIR time. I'm tempted to answer like a senior citizen and let them try to do their spiel while I say over and over, "I'm sorry, I can't hear you, can you speak up?" and let them practically yell into the phone. Then you are wasting both their time AND their voice - ha!
Have fun with these jack***es instead of bemoaning them. Might as well have fun by making fun of them in that way.

They keep calling here and the message says last chance to lower my credit card interest.  i dont have a credit card.  I pressed one and they came on line and i asked why do you keep calling and they hung up, as allways.

Thanks to all of you for your posts about this nmber. I just got a call from it for the first time. My Caller ID gave the number and its label "wireless caller." It wasn't from any friends' cell phones, so I just unplugged the base unit so it couldn't take a message the caller might try to leave. Eventually they gave up. The only ways I can solve my financial difficulties are to be hired into a good-paying job to use my college education ... or win a lottery. Apparently I have enough experience with these mystery calls to look them up on the web. Thanks again to you all for sharing, and best wishes for everything.

Phone monkey hung up on me.


Reported them to the donotcall.gov site.
If he'd been sheepish and apologetic maybe I wouldn't have done that.

They keep calling me and I stay on the phone to tell them to stop calling my number and they hang up the phone before I even finish my sentence.

A little more investigation shows that this number is issued by New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC-DC.

Their CEO and President is Mr Stan Sigman.  Their website gives no way to contact them to see if he is aware of this scam operating on their cellular phone system.

Where do we go from here to get this fixed?  Any ideas?

Been getting repeated, recorded calls from this number.  When attempting to call back, we mainly get a message center for "Survey  Call" is full message.

We did get through once, months ago and asked what credit card they were calling about.  The voice said "any" and asked if we owed more than $5000 in credit card debt.  We said "no" and they hung up before we could ask them to put us on their do not call list.

Today's recorded call warned us that this was our last chance to reduce charges on our credit card.

What gives?  Why can't they shut these crooks down?

I keep getting precorded calls from this number that says they have sent multiple mailings to my address and this is my last chance to reduce my credit card interest. There is no opt out. The only option offered is to press one to speak to a representative.

When you press one to talk to a rep to tell him to take you off their list, it just disconnects. I'm on the do-not-call national registry but they keep calling.

This is very irritating.

they called my house, I didn't answer the phone. didn't know who would be calling me from their cell phone in NY.

Receiving multiple calls from this number and other numbers that are identified as "cell phones" all with the same recording.  I push 1 to speak to a representative and each time I request to be removed from the call list, I am promptly hung up on.   The last representative I got was argumentative and YELLING that he didn't appreciate the tone in my voice.  I have made complaints to the FCC and will continue to do so.

Just had a call from this number also.... And yesterday, and the day before, etc etc from other numbers equally annoying.  Yet, when the phone Company puts a block on my telephone, my relatives in Europe where I am from, can not get a hold of me in case someone there gets ill......  So, what is a person to do?? Why can the authorities not catch these scammers?????
