call over and over...why?

Rec'd a call from this number today Wednesday, June 6, 2012 @ 1:18pm PST on my cell phone.  I live in Southern CA and have an 818 area code. I didn't get to the phone in time to answer.  When I called the number back I heard the following message: "Thank you for calling Alliance Health, we specialize in helping people like yourself maximize their benefits from their insurance providers to make sure all of their healthcare needs are being met for the lowest cost. If you qualify one of the suppliers in our nationwide network of top providers can deliver the medical supplies you need at lower or no cost. To see if you qualify we will return your call shortly or simply press one to leave us your name and number and we will return your call.  If you do not want to receive any additional calls from us, and to be placed on our do not contact list, please press two."

This is the 3rd call I've gotten from this company.

The first call I received from this company was back on Thursday, May 31st, 2012 at 8:13AM Pacific Standard Time from 813-444-5520. I didn't get to the phone in time and called it back and heard the same message above. I looked up Alliance Health and found a site for Alliance Healthcare Services: http://alliancehealthcareservices-us.com/home .  I do not know if it's the same company.  I called Alliance Healthcare Services customer service line:  800.544.3215 and could not get through to anyone.  My number is on the DNC and I haven't signed up on any sights having to do with medical supplies I'm pretty sure this is a scam.

The second call from this number was on Monday, June 4th, 2012 @ 7:45pm PST from 510-201-5511. Just as I picked up the line disconnected.  I called it back and again heard the message above.

I read through all the notes on this company and several people claim to be getting multiple calls from this company from multiple numbers and have posted lists of these numbers.

Now they're calling my cell phone! If it's a 1-800 # of ANY kind, or an out of area call I do not recognize I refuse to answer. Of course they do not leave a message so thankfully won't go against my monthly minutes. I know I'm not alone when I say I'M SICK OF BEING BOTHERED UNNECESSARILY! I wish record-a-calls would be outlawed!

I called the number back and it was a recording for Alliance Health... I dont have Alliance Health Insurance.. They are just trying to sell stuff.. i hung up on the recording..

They call and do not leave a voicemail. Then if you pick up they ask for "Christy" (at least they did with me). When I said they had the wrong number, they said they wouldn't call back.  We'll see if that happens.

I received a call from this number at 10PM.  Will report it if I get another.  I didn't answer and there was no message left.  I am so tired of these kind of calls.

someone calls that wants to follow up on diabetes that someone here has filled in on the internet,,this is in regards to get free drugs for diabetes,, plus this call is being recorded..

First time to get a call from this number. ID stated "New York NY". I didn't answer and after four rings, the call went to our answering service - but by then the call had ended. I'm going to assume it's a robo-call and block it if I get another one.
