missed the call

SAME THING JUST NOW..left a message..no name...have not called back ..reversed the # first..its a cell phone...sounded like an elderly woman being forced to do this..NOt sure if authorities should be contacted.

I received a call telling me that I had contacted this woman. There was an echo in the background which made it difficult to hear her. She said that I could pay money and be featured on a website and asked if I had an agent, etc. I said no and asked what website she was referring to. She was very gruff and kept snapping out a reply of some website which I couldn't make out because of her tone. Finally on the third time it appeared her reply was www.love@models.com, I was online at the moment and immediately typed it in to see what came up and it said it didn't exist. The woman kept repeatedly asking me when I would like to come in for an appointment, etc.. I asked for her location and she said Wallstreet, that's it! Extremely abrupt and said when can you get here... I said if you are talkin NYC I am a few hours away and I said I need a site I can visit for more info. etc. After i had to ask her three times because she kept trying to get me to book an appt. etc. She hung up. I searched the phone number online and all these complaints came up. So I called the number back and the same woman picked up. I told her that she just contacted me and I wanted to know how she had gotten my number and exactly what offer was it that I had contacted her about. She asked me for my name and I gave it to her. I told her that I typed in the webiste she had given me on the phone and it said that address didn't exist. I asked her what kind of scam she was running and her already extremely rude manner took another huge turn. She yelled over the phone "Why don't you go F*** yourself hard in the A**, how does that sound?" To which I replied that I didn't think I was the one that needed to do that and I didn't appreciate her tone and attitude and that my concerns were legitimate. Of course she hung up... (FYI... I am not the type to swear and be rude to people, I am not ever! So I didn't provoke her needlessly, I just stated facts to her and she immediately went on the defense and said all those profanities to me.) Don't give this lady money or have anything to do with her!!! lol now, that I have given you the gettysburg... that's all for now. As far as language, I am sorry but I think you should know what kind of stuff she said to me when I wasn't yelling or swearing at her, just wanting the honest truth from her....

I just got the same call. She informed me there was a catalog shoot and they would put my picture on the web for $39.00. I asked what the name of the company was. She said it was just 'Catalogs' and asked if I was interested. I told her I was unemployed and would like more info - she hung up on me!
  I'm 51 years old. I immediately sensed a problem when she was interested in me for a catalog shoot.

Got the exact same call.  This older sounding women named Sandy left me a message.  I called her back and she rushed into this story about how I had contacted "them" about modeling and wanting to know if I was with an agency.  She said she worked for a photographer & they could put my photo up on their website for a one time $40 fee!  I said hold on a minute....who is "they"...who am I speaking with....what is the website address?  She said, "Do you want to sign up or not!"  I said, slow down....I don't even know who you are.  Then she hung up on me.

I just got the same call! The woman was super rude to me and threatened to "take me off the list" because I kept asking her questions.

I just received the same phone call.  She would not say who she was with or give me a name.  She was very abrupt.  As soon as she asked for money to be on the website I knew it was a scam.  Also, which legit agency would call on a weekend?!

got a call from this place sying i contacted them about modeling, im not even a model.  I asked them twice who it was or what their name was and the woman pretended not to hear me and just kept talking and hung up!
