i received a message from this number with instructions to call back about modeling. once i called back the woman was very evasive and asked me what my height was, if i was irish, spanish, or italian. once i said i was caucasian she simply said "thanks anyways" and hung up. b***h!

Got a call from her which showed up as 'private' last night. When I called her back at this number she left on my voicemail, she asked if I was at a computer. I asked her what this was regarding and she said she'd have to patch me through to another person anyways, that I should call back today (the next day) when I was at a computer. I decided to do some research here first! Thanks for your help!

Yup I just spoked to this woman and what a fool she is, ohhh please yeah at last minute she calls telling me that I need to respond because by 12:00 PM her staff has to make a decision. Sure like I m going to pay $39.99 to some Bimbo that calls that doesn't even know how to speak right or communicate properly. Please lady get a life and stop living out of scamming innocent people.

She called and left a message for me to call her back and I did and she answered the phone very unprofessionally and I thought I had the wrong number. She just said hello in a raspy voice and it didn't sound like a place of business. She asked me how old I was and I said I was calling for my son and he is 17. Then she asked me if I was in front of a computer and I said yes. Then she asked if my son had an agent and I said yes and told her his agents name. She said thank you and hung up on me. I thought that sounded weird so I deceided to google her phone number to see where that call came from. What a LOZER she was. Don't be fooled people.
Shelby 2011-06-06 21:07:09 Unknown
Yeah, I fell for it. I feel like an idiot for not looking it up first. If you go to the website she's running (gomodels.biz) there are a LOT of people who've gotten caught up it it. She's praying on the hopes of amateur models.
Patricia 2011-06-06 21:07:09 Unknown
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!! HUGE SCAM THAT i FELL FOR!! I AM AN IDIOT AND DID NOT LOOK IT UP FIRST, I GOT NOTHING OUT OF THIS.

A woman named Lynne who mentioned she has A $1500 paid print ad with nation company but all you have to do is sign up on her web-site nd pay $39.95. You should never have to pay an up-front fee to be represented for paid print ads.

This lady is a rusian Scammer her suppoused name is Madison. The call I got was from an unknown phone telling me to meet her for an interview at 300 Park Avenue on 50th St. She was very rude and not professional, she is short stature, medium weight , red dye straight hair, medium lenght and very temperamental. She ask for $220 on the spot and in cash in order to "send out books, shipping and handling material and a space on her website"modelcasting.com" which was a fake not published website. She said she was on her way to Macys to meet the client and so if you can send me your pictures I will take them with me.
Her assistant a Puerto Rican girl called "Damaris Lopez" try to persuade me and accompanied me to the ATM to get money...unbelievable!
She is a scam not one who wants to hire you for a job will ask you money in advance, also the unknown number and the constant rented spaces in different locations, also not having a legit business and being very vague in information and rushy. It is truly a sign that they are not legit. Do you research, craigslist is full of scams. Hope I can help by passing the knowledge.

I'm glad I stayed up all night and looked here would suck wasting MY time and becoming a Victim...Thanks for sharing (I read all comments)

I went to 415 Madison Ave, 14th Floor, today. Big Mistake. I think the company was called "Love that Look" or something like that. I met with a woman, she was a middle-aged blond woman, about 5'3" or 5'4". She barely got my name right, didn't really interview or audition me. All she did was quickly show me a website, then asked for $220, saying this was a fee to be put on the website. She didn't explain who her clients were, or anything about this service, which is odd especially when you're asking for that amount of money. I didn't just step off a bus, I understood that no legit agency does this. She was using the hard sell tactic of acting like I owed her the money already. She asked, "Do you need to go to the ATM?" I said yes, as I was planning to go downstairs and not come back. She says, "i'll come with you." We go downstairs, we go to an atm, and I inform her that I don't have $220. She says, "you knew this already?" I informed her that no one on the phone told me about this fee (b/c I wouldn't have bothered showing up) She scoffed, "why am I wasting my time?!" and stormed off. It sounds like others have had this experience with this organization. The numbers I received calls from were 646-673-8482 and 917-399-9954.

i had called the ad listing which i found in the newspapers classified. they called me back with a private number. these people are really reluctant in giving any type of information. i mean they make you go to the "interview" for any type of information. all they do is tell you location and time without any type of introduction or who they are. seriously, what type of professional corporation, agency, or company would present themselves like that!!!

Good looking out! I am so glad I googled this before I went to my apointment with this woman. I received a call from an Unknown number and the lady was very vague and told me to come in to 415 Madison Ave, 14th Floor. After finding this site and reading everyone's posts, I called to cancel and got the "answering service." When the lady I had originally talked to called me back from 646-673-8479, she was very rude. I told her I was no longer interested and she hung up on me.
Thanks again everyone for saving me time and possibly money.

Tery 2009-02-23 21:39:22 Unknown
I went to the appointment today with my compcard. I told her that I had been at One source talent and I had left because they charged me money and she wanted me to pay then and there $220. I said that I had no money and that I had to go back and sha answered that the next casting is in September... I gave her 20 bucks and said that I will go back tomorrow. I came home and googled and found that this is a scam. Tomorrow I am going back to get my $20... and my compcard.

I got a call from a different number (646-673-8500) proposing the same scheme... inviting me to a model casting at the same address (415 Madison Ave. 14th Floor)... she was very vague and didn't tell me the name of the agency until I asked. She said it was "Luke Models" which ironically doesn't show ANY information online... nor can I find any listing for their phone number. Isn't it ironic that according to the yellow pages, 415 Madison Avenue 14th Floor is the location of a bunch of conference centers that you can RENT OUT???

oh wow...i replied also on craigslist for sunglasses ad, and got a call from an unknown number, telling me to come in to wall street...i guess now i wont go, because it seems to be a scam...
Katie 2009-02-12 22:15:30 Unknown
Oh my God! I am so glad I googled this before actually going to my appointment tomorrow. I got the same kind of call from 212-618-1336 because I had replied to the sunglasses ad no Craigslist. Thank God for google and for people sharing this kind of thing online - I would have been so mad if I had gone into the city for nothing. Thanks guys!

Yeah, I was just scammed out of $40. She called and rushed me into making a decision and promised me a photo shoot with a ski company that would pay $1500. Needless to say, after uploading my info, she stopped taking my calls. I googeled "gomodels.biz" and found this page. It turns out, the same page is also bookmarked under judithmodels.com.
DO NOT GIVE HER ANY MONEY! SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST
You can find me on the wall of shame... page 4.
Elizabeth 2008-12-12 03:50:02 Unknown
This lady is a scam! She couldn't tell me what the company was called and when taken to the "website" which is gomodels.biz you can totally tell it is just to get your money. theres no way to have all those models with this company and have you magically be the "one." She said I was one of 5%.
kitchu 2008-12-04 00:39:40 Unknown
THEY ARE SOOO FULL OF IT! if anyone knows how to report them or what there company name is please tell me so that i can sue their a***s!
AMTGACT97 2008-11-24 22:34:45 Unknown
Ooops, I just realized some of my typos in the message above...I meant to say "I'm NOT interested" and then the rude b**** hung up on me.
**THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM***
AMTGACT97 2008-11-24 18:18:40 Unknown
*WARNING - THE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER OFFERING YOU MODELING JOBS IS A TOTAL SCAM***
Here's my experience: I recieved a call from this number. I was told the same, the website will only be given to me if I pay $39 to have my child listed on it. I said "I'm interested" and before anything I could say anything else, the lady hung up on me. I then called back and I requested the company, manager's name so I could file a complaint and the same rude individual said "oh go to hell" and hung up on me. These individuals are rude, non proffessional and obviously running a scam. If you want to be listed on websites/casting sites, letigimate ones that is; they do cost, but no one at there offices treat anyone the way I was treated. Belive me once I find out who these individuals are, I will file a complaint with the BBB office. Maybe then their little scam will stop.
