i too have gotten several calls from this number in the last couple weeks. i finally called the number back and the number is out of service!!  now how can this be when i received a call just seconds before?????????

I've gotten calls from it in the last two days as well - no answer on the other line.

got a call from this number today 01/10/08 at 9 am no one sayed anything wanted to know who it was

got a call 9:00am 1/18/08......star 69 said 917-522-0034..left no message!!!but sure woke me up....

Received a call from this number tonight, 1/24/08, at 7:30pm.  Several boys in the background were laughing and saying hello, hello.  I stayed on the line for a minute until they started dialing another number and then hung up.

Called my parents one day and then our number a couple days later. Working their way through the phone listings???

Who is calling all of us? There must be some way to race this idiot...

got a call this morning from this #.  No one on the line.

Got a call from this number on Saturday, 3/1/08.  The caller asked for someone named Jonathan with my last name.  I told him no one by that name resides at this phone number.  I asked who was calling.  He told me not to worry about it and addressed me by my first name.  He then told me not to even bother calling back and again used my first name.  I felt like this was a veiled threat.  Now after seeing all of the above comments, I'm more inclined to believe it was someone with nothing better to do with his time.  Sure wish he'd get a life instead of interrupting mine.

I get a call from this place/person at least once a day for the past 2 weeks! Nobody says anything when I answer, next time I'm gonna have my 5 year old answer!

WE HAVE HAD MANY COMPLAINTS ON THIS NUMBER,MOST LIKELY CALLER IS DOING SOMETHING CALLED "SPOOFING" WHICH MEANS THEY DISPLAY THIS OUT OF SERVICE NUMBER BUT IN THEORY IT CAN BE COMING FROM ANYWHERE ( WHICH IS LEGAL BY FCC STANDARDS)

Wasn't home, but I see on caller ID I got a call from this number. They didn't leave a message.

keep receiving silent calls from this number. no sound on the other end, but will finally hang up if we stay on the line.

Same thing.  They are calling my home phone several times a day.
Hangup calls.  VERY annoying.

Call ID said NY ,Feb calls total 5 .Hang up each time.

Called and asked for my father in law. I told him to hold on and I would get him. When he picked up the phone there was no one there. Sounded like a bunch of people in the background. Call ID just said New York.

caller said he was from new york police dept. and wanted a donation of $75.  when husband said we were both unemployed he reduced the request from $75 down to $15.  husband said no.

They got the machine, waited a few seconds then hung up.

When I make a call to my son with my Vonage phone. It rings and hangs up at his house. His caller ID says I am 917 522 0034. I live in another state with a 724 area code. Happens 95% of the time. Supect VONAGE. So far they are no help.

I received two different calls from this number asking if I was a business.  Does anyone know why they do this?

I got this call at 9 am, and went to answer it. their was no one there, and everytime I try to call it back, it says my call can not be completed at this time. Thats when I googled this , adn came up to this page. Next time I will know just to ignore it all together.

Two of my VONAGE phone lines rang at the same time: On caller ID's it came up as unknown name 1412, on my online account it appeared as 19175220034, on my other number it came up as just 1412.

they repeatedly call and just say "we have important personal business to discuss..please call"

called my dorm room phone, hung up, then called cell phone and made a funny noise and hung up.
