Robo Calls from Rachel from cardholder Services

I am at my witts end whis this Rachel  person they will not stop calling no matter what I do. I am considering the purchase of a police wistle. When I follow thru on the call to ask them to stop calling me or ask questions  or tell them I don't have a credit card balance they hang up on me.

I contacted my phone company to see if they had any ideas on how to stop these.  They didn't really but, the person I spoke w/said when you get these calls, answer and just start randomly punching the keys on your phone.  It messes things up on their end and I did notice that it slowed things down a bit on the amount of calls I get.

Not sure how this *60 works...tried it and nothing happened.

I get the calls as well regularly and I don't even own a credit card! I have registered my house number and cell with the DNC registry! So at this point I think we all need to report this number!

, they rotate numbers so it is different each time, but the message and style is the same. They call multiple times a week if not a day ... Press 1 to speak with someone just to tell them to stop calling and they hang right up.   How about a class action lawsuit to take care of these guys ...

Credit Card Services ...Cardmember Services ... soemthing like that ... number keeps changing but call is the same ...

Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer it.  Caller ID was Wireless Caller.

this man keeps calling and say he needs me to call or have my att. call him about an investagation.  I will not answer my phone when i see this number show up but the calls are very irritating and i want them to stop.  I know it is a scam

Scammers make money from suckers. Phone companies make money from allowing them to do business. This site makes money displaying ads so people can have a place to complain and post "ideas" about how to stop getting calls. No one wins. The only way to deal with it in my view, is to answer the call and waste as much of their time as possible (provided they don't call on your cell and it costs you money, I'd just not answer it then). Do Not Call is pointless, it's for people that follow the law (allegedly), and these people have no intention on following the law. FCC doesn't have the time or care to deal with it. The caller number is spoofed anyway, usually, because the FCC and phone companies don't bother to implement technology to prevent spoofing. The more people that waste the scammer's/spammer's time, the less people they'd be able to call. Guess what, they don't need to robo-call to verify your number is real and active, they randomly call everyone, and don't care. Asking to be removed does nothing, just waste their time and get satisfaction that way.

I have received repeated calls from this number. If I don't answer, no message is left. If I do answer, it is someone from Chase, like other calls reported at this site.

Keep getting calls regularly from 917-526-5373 and other numbers associated with this number about some kind of lower interest offer on credit cards; I have asked them to stop calling my number, but they never comply with my request.

Next time they call, I going to call trace the number to find out the identity of the caller and then file suit against them in small claims court for violation of the federal do not call list law.

I would encourage all others to do the same if you do not like getting calls from this number(s).

Upset Landline Telephone Line Owner

This number also shows up as "cell phone" on my caller ID, but it wasn't a scam debt collector.  Got a recorded message supposedly from my credit card company with an "opportunity" to lower my interest rate and monthly payments.  I hung up.  These calls are SO annoying!

I get these calls all day long.  I do not want to lower my interest rates and if you tell them, they still keep calling back, but with a different person on the line.  I need for these calls to stop.  I do not answer them, and they never leave a message.  they are a pain and it is a waste of my time to answer/not answer a call that I do not want to receive.

Got a robo-call from this number today. Offering to lower credit card rates. I have this new home phone from panasonic that lets me block specific numbers - if it sees them dialing in it just gives them a busy signal. This is my first addition....  Also reported these scammers to the donotcall.gov site. Doubt they can do anything, obviously not a legit company, hard to track numbers that are spoofed....

I got this call yesterday..........could tell by the voice on the automated message.  Yesterday there was an opt out "press 2" option.  That number was different from the one today but the automated voice message was exactly the same and the same voice. Today's call was from a different number (how many different numbers would you suppose they have?). Today there was no opt out number and I pushed #1..............The person who answered asked if I pushed #1 to lower my credit card interest rate.  I said not exactly......I pushed #1 to tell you that I never pay any interest, I pay my credit card bills in full and on time EVERY month, and I want you to stop calling this number, I am reporting you to the do not call!!

I just get up and walk over to my home fax machine and hit the answer button.  My calls have lessened and those that do call - have to pay for the call because it was answered (by the fax machine)!

I am on the Do Not Call List, and yet, these  jerks, still call. What does it take to stop them?? These calls keep coming, and the caller leaves no message, absolutely insane.

Harrassing calls everyday 4 times a day and dont leave message

I got the same call ...checked it on reverse phone # look up...they have a New York address complete with map...just in case they want to keep harassing you.

Just got a call from this number. I answered because I get tired of the calls. When he answered I made it clear I did not want these calls. He told me to go to hell.

The only thing that may work to stop these calls from all of the different numbers involved is to have them start calling people that have the capacity to do something about it. Namely your congressman or senator; from state level to federal. If possible as a nationwide group we need to get together as many of their public and personal and home phone numbers as we can .It would take some doing to start leaving these numbers as callback numbers when you talk to the caller, but it might make a difference in the long run. Have no idea if this is feasible. Any comments?

I just got 2 calls from this number within 5 minutes.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  did not answer, but saw that there are other complaints from people receiving a call from this number.

PLEASE STOP BOTHERING ME!!!!!!  You don't even offer an option of unsubscribing to stop the harrassment.  I don't want your offers.
