This number calls my desk phone at least once a day -- usually early in the morning or late in the afternoon -- but never leaves a message.  I ignore it... and based on this message board, it's a good thing.

Got a call from this number, now several times. I called back and no answer.

This is a sales call from a company called eGain.

Some guy Named Hemet called me, could barley understand what he was saying, he was asking for people that work at my place of business and he could barley say their names. was very quiet sounded middle eastern or other descent. figured it was a bogus call or telemarketer selling something.

Just got a call at work from this number. Hung up when I answered, so I Googled it. Looks like some foreign scam.

Just inherited new phone #....logged 85 calls from this same number...7 this week

Calls 4 or 5 times a day. I have not answered and they leave no message. Posts on this site complaining about this go back 3 years and this harassment still continues!

When I called the number back, message said "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your feature update could not be completed."

Call came in on corportate number twice with no one responding and 3rd time a voicemail with no message. Glad the company has record of it.

Every day at work this number calls me at least 6 times. It usually only rings 2 times then stops. When I have picked it up, no one is there.  This is harrassment.

This number keeps calling me at work, only rings twice - never a message. If it doesn't stop, I am going to take further action.

I received a call at work from this number. The live person spoke with a distinct Indian accent and was offering an invitation to join an upcoming IBM webinar. - July 2011

Received two calls within 3 minutes.  Didnt answer either.  No message left. Area code search shows as "New York: New York City".

i got this call at 1 am- verified the number- then an indian woman got on ( lots of background noise) ASKED FOR MY NIECE Lydia. I have no niece. I googled it - it is some king of voice over.

I got three calls from this number at 5;30 in the morning. Managed to pick up the last call and there was no one on the other side or they were awfully quiet.
Totally surprised to see this page - dedicated to one phone number... wonder if anyone will crack the mystery.

I got a call from this number in Hungary, but I could not pick up... Have no clue who could it be...

I also got the call from this number on my work number few times. I didn't pickup but whenever I called back, I got no response. I did google to find out the details about this number and found this site. Many people getting call from this number then.

I got a call on my cell from this number just now (1:20p 3-18-08). I answered, and after a second or two of silence, heard only 1) about 20 seconds of smooth jazz music, and then 2) a female, recorded "thank you, and goodbye". No human interaction, no explanation of who was calling or why.

I suspect that it's an automated system fishing for valid phone numbers to be added/kept in a telemarketing database. I wonder if any of the previous posters above experienced an increase in telemarketing activity after this.

got calls from this number today, intervals varies, 11 min, 30 min, 3hrs,...

got a call. couldn't answer, so i sent it to voicemail. didn't leave a message.

when i called back, it said "you have entered an invalid command". there was a short beep following, then hung up after a second.

i called back several times and every times it picks up. most times, i hear quiet hiss for a few seconds and it hangs up on me. sometimes it does that "you have..." thing.

I received multiple calls today, all with the same long message of just muffled sounds

Received call at work, didn't recognize number so didn't pick up. It left a 51 second message that sounded like a phone in a purse with just rustling sounds and background noise and muffled voices.

i got a call on my CELL PHONE while I was at work... I did not pick up, and tried calling back with ni answer/ no voicemail

Received multiple calls from this number with no messages.
Answered call today.
It was a telemarketing call from eGain communications out of India.

Received a VM from Mike from eGain Comunications on this number. He left 6502307607 as a callback number.

I've received 3 calls from this number over the past 5 days. Always early in the morning. Answered the call today and there was just silence on the phone.
