Have been receiving call from officer william smith.  states I owe a payday loan. this is a complete scam.  this is the third middle eastern person that is calling me and trying to get money from me.  i have reported it to my state attorney general and the fbi.  it's very sad how many posting i have been finding from people receiving these calls.

i received a threathen call from Francis lopez saying that i took a loan back in 2008 from federal legislation of unsecured loan. i was getting sued for about $7000.00 and that i needed to be in court in my city on august 5th. but i could settle out of court and he could speak on my behalf to my creditor. he put me on hold and came back to the line telling me that they agree to settle out of court and i have to pay $945.00. he didn't want to give me my creditor number or addrress. he wanted me to fax a letter to him to apologize about taking the loan and not paying back.  i will notify the police because i know it was a scam.

I received the same phone call from a man named Nick Wilson who called from Federal Legislation of Unsecured Loans.  He claims that I owe 5084.84 for a payday loan that I didn't pay back.  The funny thing is my cell phone has been off for 2 months. I called T-Mobile and someone turned my phone on through auto restore apparently these hackers.  I notified my local police department and also contacted Secret Service Department as well as my employer to notify them of this matter.

On 072409, the rep ('Nick' from Legislation of Unsecured Loans said he was with The Blanch Law firm and was representing a company (whose name he wouldn't give me) against me.  He was notifying me that I need to be in New York tomorrow at 11 am at the Superior court.  He did not give me and address.  He said the case number was D8118.  I told him that I was never notified about any court case against me, he said that is why he was calling.  I told him he was full of crap and hung up.  Then he called me back.  He asked me why I hung up and I told him he was full of crap.  The scary thing was, he had my bank account number, bank name, knew that I'd done business with payday loan people.  The phone number that came up on my caller id for this company is 917-645-9972.  He said I needed to get a lawyer when I told him I didn't have one. I know this is a scam.  I called the court in NY and they have no clue about any case about me.  I also called and emailed the law firm and they don't have a case against me but know what it was about because they've had other people call them.  These people have since tried to call me back today.  I told them they are a scam and unless they overnight documents to me proving who they are, they don't need to bother me again.
