the do not call list only applied to people who are soliciters...maybe its not a soliciter and you should listen to what is said.  That said if it is a soliciter then you have reason for a lawsuit. Find out who they are and take action.

I got a call from these guys too, the grant funding source people. At first I was very skeptical and then I asked for the dude's name. Said his name was Tony Smith, obviously because all the Indians are calling their kids Tony nowadays anyways. I found out these guys were phonies while I was on the phone with them, then started messing with them. Was actually really fun. I suggest trying that out sometime, and I'm actually looking forward to the next time they call, and everytime after that. I have some sort of gimmick planned out now whenever they do end up calling, those fools.

Keep getting calls from 917-667-0123 said he was Johnny, business was computers for dummies, told him never to call again, today got 2 calls from this number. How can this be stopped, We should sue him,,, lol.
it would be nice to stop his calls.

Maybe he is a hacker, stealing stuff from our computers.

I received a call on Saturday from 917-677-0123. The caller id said Backbone Communications. They were nasty to my mom and would not leave a message.

Countless calls reguarding grant money on an answering machine & now I caught the call live.  Had a secondary ring through then a guy with a strong accent answered asking about technical support for my business. I just hung up on him. On do not call list

I got a call from an indian guy from this number telling me he was from Technical Supoprt for Dummies and that he was going to help me fix my computer. I told him I dont have a computer and he just keeps calling every day.

Called me just now at 6:15 saying his name was Daniel from online education. I told him yesterday don't call me. The same number keeps calling pretending to be different companies and a different named person. Just a scam. ITs the same guy, same voice with a different name every time.

I am in sixth grade and the 9176770123 calls my cellphone 5 times a day and I can't get them to stop!

I get a least 3 calls a day I now have this number blocked I still see my phone light up but no ringing.

these people have been calling me for a year.  I asked them to remove my name from the list and that stopped calling for 3 month and then resumed.

These people just won't quit... have filed a complaint with the FTC and the calls keep coming.  SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP!

They keep calling a business cell phone and dont leave a voicemail.  Now its time to report them again!  I do not need anything from them and wish they would stop calling - trouble is just around the corner for them!

With all the complains on this and other websites about 917-677-0123 and many other numbers calling people, when you complain to FCC, the calls stop. then few days later another number starts calling the same numbers. First question is: who benefits from all this calls? The first beneficiary of this kind of disturbance are the investigating software companies on the net. They even hide their name and the cost of their reverse search until you have used the first step and they hide the result of their reverse search until you pay.....go figure.

I got a call from this number 3 times today.  I did try to call back once but the phone was busy.  I have no idea who the company is as I have not called back again.  They never leave a message either so I figure it is not anyone that I need to be worried about but it is irritating.

This number has been calling me on my cell all day and won't leave a message to identify themselves. I don't answer numbers I don't know so good luck getting through but I would think they'd get the hint by now. Someone please tell me what the hell is the point of a "do not call" list if these people STILL CALL YOU?!! I really think that list is a bunch of crap and is really a good way to GET people's number. That's my opinion...

This number has called me three times (so far) today within two hours.  It's very frustrating!  The third time, I was finally able to answer and I could hardly understand the guy on the line.  The call was something about free grant funding, but, like I said, the guy had such a strong accent that I couldn't really understand him.  I have not requested any information about grant funding!

this number called me a couple of times today but i didn't answer because i was at work. i called back after i clocked out, and got a recording that said "all representatives are currently busy right now, please hold the line for the next available representative". i stayed on the line for two minutes but never got through. there was a recorded greeting, but the lady had such a strong accent that all i really understood was something about being transferred to the customer service department.

Hey, I received a call from a guy, he told his Name is Steve, can any one tell me how to reach them, because i really want to meet this guy and i want to teach him how to speak English. He always try to use accent but he can't ... i really hate him... he calls several times in a day... even I told him that I'll complain about him but yet this stupid guy keeps on calling... he is such a idiot...  i hate him..

caller id says International then the phone number did not answer no message left third time this week they have called. does anyone know who they are?

The persons calling from (917) 677-0123 are trying to sell you on advanced education.  I’ve called that number about 3 times now and I’ve asked them to remove my name from their call list.  I’ve asked the person at the other end politely to remove my number from their list, that didn’t work.  The third call I made was a rude screamer and that didn’t work.  I’m game for filing a formal complaint if there is an organization or someone willing to follow up on the complaint. The caller is relentless!
