Text message saying that I've won a price at Walmart or BestBuy with a website name.  I get to pay for the costs of these texts!!!  Rogers says to send the text "stop" or "unsubscribe" to the a***oles.  I didn't go to the website.

I got an sms from this number but it says:

Congratulations, Your number made you Walmart's winner of the day! Goto Http://www.walmart.com.wonacontest.com to claim your prize! You have 24 hours to claim.

Sent on June 9th at 9:02am. I'm in Vancouver, BC, Canada

I'm in Hamilton, Ontario.

I just received a text message on my cell phone that was sent early after 5:00 a.m. this morn:

"Goto  http://www.bestbuy.ca.wonacontest.com to claim your prize!  You have 24 hours to claim."

Someone needs to stop this scam artists!!  Esp.ly since they're using the name of a legitimate company "BEST BUY" in their website address!!

texted me asking me to claim my prize after i enter in my cell number at this site:
www.bestbuy.ca.wonacontest.com which then redirects you to www.ziinga.com. scam site.

recieved this as well, user should be investigated and have his digits removed

Same here, just got the message now. I'm in Ottawa, Canada.

The link in the message redirects your browser to some kind of phishing/scam website. A friend of mine received the exact same message last week. Whatever you do, don't click on the link in the previous posting....or you may open yourself up to the scam.

Possible information fishing/ malware/spyware. Contest fraud.
