I am on the Do Not Call List and they contnue to call.  I have not answered and they do not leave a message.

Got a call from this number and it was the regular Cred Card scam - when I talked to the clown on the other end and asked him to take me of the list - he hung up on me . And that's their usual procedure.- This time I did call the number back ,and got a voice mail and left a mesage to call me back . Within a minute or so , a lady called back , and explained that she was not involved with this CC scam at all, that they are now using her number for an ID, and she is getting a lot of calls back from people being harassed by these crooks. She was very courteous and apologetic , and said she had turned this problem over to her security people . I surely hope they can trace these scumbags, and get them ,at least off her back. - It amazes me how leanient the government is on these crooks, who pray an our fellow citizens as well as ourselves, and let them continue their illeagal practices for years.then on the other hand ,if someone forgets to put their turnsignal on , you are nailed to the wall with a ticket ,a fine , and a possible jailtime ,if you don't adhere and comply, and pay up. Well so much for the freedom we all enjoy . It has it's cost in many ways. There are other countries in the world that are also free - to scam you , swindle you, accuse you , and fine you. Our USA is not the only one . Soooo, what do we do ???

Please be advised to acknowledge this as a filing of a formal compliant against tghe above mention number andthat I want them to cease immediately with these unauthorized annoying calls!You have been warned! Chi-Town,  No offense intended,  but most people don't really know how the DNC registry works.  It is not a group of people monitoring telephone traffic,  nor is it a mechanical or magical device that can determine what calls you want to receive and what ones that you don't want to receive.  It doesn't have equipment or people who work to intercept anyones call and blocks them.   It is simply a list of telephone numbers,  of those whom do not wish to receive telemarketing (Telephone Sales) calls,  that is provided to businesses who wish to stay legal and honor their requests.  It provides no immunity against those who call as scammers,  or illegally.  Anyone can call your number....it just provides those who are good honest businesses with a means of determining who would not welcome their calls.  We always notice those who call us, even though unwelcomed,  yet most of us never consider those who are NOT calling us.  The DNC has been effective in keeping many businesses honest in their compliance.  For example,  if not for the DNC,  think of all of those businesses throughout the world who would be completely legal in calling you at will,  in addition to all the crooks and scammers.  Payday Loan companies,  insurance companies, carpet companies,  windows and siding companies,  Finance companies,  cable tv,  Dish tv solicitations,  cell phone companies soliciting,  magazine subscription companies,  travel tour companies,  Home Food Delivery companies,  and my goodnes the list goes on forever.   These and many more are the ones who are NOT calling us in honor of the requests made through the DNC.    Imagine how much our phones would ring,  in addition to the present callers,   if we were to opt out of the DNC and open ourselve up to any company in the world who wanted to solicit us.  The DNC Registry never knows who is calling who unless people start reporting these calls.   That is how things get done.   It gets frustrating but what I would suggest is that everyone report all of these unwanted callers to the DNC so that they will be aware of our discontent.  In the mean time,   call blockers are reasonably effective in blocking most unwanted calls.  At least . Until something better comes along.   I would recommend at everyone who can spare a few minutes go to the DNC site and read about what it does and does not do.  Who can call and who is not supposed to call.   I kind of helps us to understand that it is just a simple list that keeps the honest......honest...

Yesir they do.  Hope you did your share by reporting them to the DNC and FTC.  The more that complain to these people,   the better the chances of getting action.

Obviously the Do Not Call group does not work. We've listed and pleaded with them to do something. I doubt they even have someone looking at sites like this. If they did, you would think they'd have the guts to say they are working on it. Must be tooooo busy working on the fiscal cliff.

Whoever this is, they are wasting my time.  If any of you have the capability.. I suggest blocking the number from calling you.  Used call block during the last few months before the election.  It stopped the robo-calls.  Only problem: You have to enter the exact number(s), or it won't work.  Whatever, I'll just keep ignoring like always.

Did not answer. They call often, but i have never taken the call. They do not leave a message. I will not answer a call from this number.

I really despise when some scam caller or even some scam mail states "final notice"
My elderly relative he gets frightened that he's in trouble with this "final notice". He's worried he forgot to pay something, etc.
Wish I could get them to stop calling him.

This number is being used by an annoying telemarketer.

For months, we have gotten multiple calls daily from this number.  When hitting 9 to ask to be taken off the list, they just hang up. If I desperately needed money, I definitely wouldn't get it from them!!!!! What can be done to get these calls stopped.

This caller is in Violation of the Do Not Call List and need to be Prosecuted.

ISO got a robo-call from 917-732-9017 on 12-11-12 @ 1149 AM. Another one of the credit card SCAM calls -
we just hung up w/o pressing any number.

Been getting the same calls for months and have asked several times to stop. how do you stop this behavior!!!!

"card services" robot keeps calling, even if you are on the no call list, even if you speak to someone and ask to be removed from their list.

I get the same message from multiple numbers from various area codes.

The recording didn't make any sense.
