i got two calls from the "state" department saying I would be arrested tomorrow. I know they are scam artists. They barely speak english for one thing. He said his name was Jack? I wish they would stop!!!

I just got the same message on my voice mail saying that my social security # is under investigation. That was my first red light that something was fishy so I googled the # and found this thread.  How can your SS# be under investigation that's so ridiculous!! They have been calling my house for a while now but this is the first time they left a message... I'm so glad I followed my gut instinct.

Folks these are scams without a doubt. They need to be reported to the FTC at www.FTC.gov. Your state Attorney General's will not be able to help much since these guys are outside the country.

These people have called me from several different phones numbers and each time they ask me to go get a money card, Why the hell am I going to get a money card when I have a bank card and credit card!!! And why would you think I'm going to give a stranger my money that I worked for??!! Please don't be a dummy and give the people any money!!!!!  I hate when people are so niece that they fall for anything and this is a prime example!!!!

They have called my work several times and my cell phone.  Just had a really disturbing phone call with "Jonathan M." a few minutes ago and told him to go to hell!!  I am not normally rude on the phone but these people bring out the worst in a person.  Turned it in to FCC and oregon attorney Generals office.

This is not a scam. They are helping us. If we are forgot to pay our one of loan then and then they are call us.
i have some finance problem so i applied for loan on fastcashusa.com and i was so lucky that i got the loan.
but i met an accident when i was driving my car and there is some problem in my family and personal life, in this situation i was not have a money to pay. My medical insurance policy give me a late claim. I got a call from the department of FDIC and Mr. Justin Clark helped me lots for this legal case. They are really helpful to us if we really have an intention to pay our owed money back.

Someone named "Peter" called my phone from the number 316 992 2823. He had an EXTREMELY heavy Indian accent and I barely understood the voicemail he left me. He claimed that there is a pending lawsuit on my name and SSN from some company and that I need to call him back. He left a callback number of 917-745-9928. I called the callback number and spoke to "Peter". He said that I took out a loan from his "client" (whom he refused to name) and that they will be suing me for not paying the loan back. I told him I didn't take out any loan from anyone and I have no idea who he was supposed to be representing. He said the Marshall will come and arrest me and then hung up the phone. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! Don't believe these people. They will try anything to extort money from people.

I received a call from this number 917-745-9928 from a supposed Peter Black saying he was from the State Investigation Department stating that my name and last 4 number of my social was blacklisted and I would be arrested tomorrow at my home address.  And that I need to call this number back.  It has to be a scam becuase I don't do anything illegal.

I got called by 917-745-9928 & 408-882-6564 3 times in total since yesterday.. And they talked on same lines as I see reported by other people on this forum.. It is really disturbing and irritating..

Just got a call from 917-745-9928 lot of noise so I hung up must be calling everyone to tell them  they are being arrested tomorrow.  hahah They called again I let it go to voice mail. This Indian man is saying his name is David White funny they always have American names when their are doing illegal stuff.  I listened to the message he is like there is a law suite  in your name and your SS# hahahah nice try loser.  And they are coming for me tomorrow  he wished me good luck I wish him good luck because next time he calls I am blowing  an air horn right in to the phone hahah SUPRISE to him

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Who are these guy call my phone from ( 917)745-9928  and how do they get my INFO they are say they are going to take me to court and they keep telling me on my  phone  not let me talk and let them  talk and  call my job and try e-mail me paper.This Drive me Crazy.  So how Do I get them  Crazy people  to stop calling my phone the number is Coming out of ( NEW YORK)  (TELL THESE SCAMMER  TO GET ON WITH THERE  WITH THEM SELF AND THERE BS )

They are fraud told them call my lawyer. Said no. They have gotten information from some were.

this number has called a couple of time..says he is from "legal department" but when i ask from
whom or where are papers or website to see he hangs up on me..just says if you won't pay
i wish you good luck ...i know they have to be scammers , i've heard of different countries doing this

Called Yesterday twice. Same caller called today twice (from (435) 761-1436 and then from (435) 768-6934 which is a cell phone in Utah) on the last message he informed me that I would be arrested tomorrow.  The number left for a return call is the New York 917 number listed above

Same called twice back to back...left message second time...they are scammers don't believe it...(-;
