So when you go to this page it ends up in a place where you can't possible claim it. So is the 24 hours time limit valid. Maybe this is a consideration for those of us who have been texted. Because when the authorities do catch up with these people they may be liable for these "winnings" anyways.

Received text message this morning (5/17/12) saying: "Congratulations! You are Iowa's WINNER OF THE DAY! Go to http://www.walmart.com.giftcardinsanity.com to claim your free gift card. Must claim within 24hrs."
Tip off that this is a scam: "Must claim within 24hrs." No legitimate company would put on such a restriction. They just want you to act before you think.
