I just got the same message Base on your resume, you match a I.m filing. Register at jobnab.com and we can discuss it if you are interested. I went on the internet and i noticed that this is a scam. My question is that you have to apply online and how do you know if one is liget or not.

Awesome stuff!
Eva 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
I got the text and went to the website. It's a job matching service that interviews you real quick to see what kind of job you're looking for and then sends you jobs in your area that you can go apply to.
Janet 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Here's what happened when I went to the site. I filled out two pages of information and was given a phone number to call. When they answered the guy confirmed the information I typed in was correct and then asked me some questions about the types of jobs I wanted. Then he said they'd start sending me updates with jobs in my area that meet those requirements. I was given the option of how often I wanted those updates and i said daily. When I got the jobs a few I'd knew already, and a few I didnt. I followed the link and applied for them. Does that answer everyone's questions?

Text message. No caller ID.
Manny 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
SMS from nowhere.
Melissa 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
There was no caller ID here either. Who sends texts to people they don't know.
Tiffaney 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Text messages! The phone calls of the future!!!
Natasha 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Text message. No caller ID. Message was about jobs.
Sherry 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Don't the number need to be in your address book for a caller ID to come threw on your cell phone?
Franklee 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Got text. No caller ID but message was pretty clear. Said that if I was still interested in finding a job to visit their website. Prolly got my resume off of Monster.
hardyboys91 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
No, caller IDs are in the number programming. If it won't come up it's because there is none.
Leroy Gonzalez 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Cell phones are different than other phones. They want to limit the amount of data sent to keep costs down so they don't send caller ID info. The number has to be in your address book to come up in caller ID.
Kerry 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Yep, no Caller ID text.
Amalia Webber 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Thank you for posting that.
markie 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Mystery solved I guess.
anthony 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
But what job did you apply to that got you the text?
Raven 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
It's a scam about jobs. The calls come from a disposable cell phone from New York. They are phishing for ID's they can steal, do not respond to it.
kimber 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
It's a SCAM!!!
Life In AZ 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Here is what they emailed me...
"Hi, I'm Anne, based on your resume you match a position I'm filling. If you register at jobnab.com we can discuss the details if you're interested."
Basically, they just want you to register on their site. No job.. no real interest.. no phone call. This was sent via SMS, and not to the one on my resume.
Laura 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
I believe this is a scam. I just received the same text from someone who is claiming to be Anne. How can they get away with this! Besides how unprofessional to text me about my resume! I wouldn't have wanted to work for such a place anyway!
Laura 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
I received a text message from an "Anne" claiming she saw my resume.
Nicole 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
A text about a job site that I didn't ask for? That's suspicious from the start. It has to be related to Monster somehow. Monster is taking over HotJobs and I agreed to let them switch me to Monster. Big mistake. I've received two scam mailings before both times I signed up with Monster. No way am I responding to this.
Katherine 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Just respond stop or x and they will not be allowed to contact you anymore :) so unprofessional to text about a resume
giordano 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
no text ref job want me to go to web site jobnab.com
Marjut Frisoni 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
This appears to be a scam to lure job hunters into giving personal information.
rgtop99 2011-06-06 21:07:10 Unknown
Got a text message that said "Hi, based on your resume, you match a job I'm filling. Register at jobnam.com and we can discuss it if you're interested."
I checked out the website and there was a lot of negative comments about it being a fake site, etc.
Does anyone know if there is a "do not text" number to call to get your name off these lists?????
