This number called twice today and hung up when I picked up

It's an online college. I called back to put my number on the DNC list.

They didn't leave a message, but nothing came up on the id either. I'd like to stop getting calls from these online things. I don't know how they got my number.

This company used to call me everyday for a few weeks.  They would use different phone numbers with different area codes.  This number is the most recent one.  The first time I answered, They knew my full name and said they were calling back to confirm my request to enroll in Virgina Online University.  I did not recall ever looking into this school, because I live in California.  However, I had possible plans to move back to the east coast and live near DC, so I wasnt sure I had at some point looked at their website. After I agreed to listen to the pitch, he begain to confirm my street address.  I had moved earily that month, so it was wrong, but it was most definity my old address and I have not idea how they got it!  Stupidly, I begain to correct him, and I stopped and hung up.  In later phone calls I asked to be remove from the list, but I would just be called with a different number a few days later.

They called my phone 7 times from 10:44am to 2:02pm...I already put my number on a do not call list, but that was 3 phone calls ago. It is getting to be ridiculous. I called them and asked to speak to an advisor. they kept me on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected the line.

they called here 3TIMES today! twice in the morning after 1hr after they calling us again! Are they in hurry to calling so often?? I went 4yrs college and another dgree in foreighn country and my husband went 4yrs,too.
We are all set with online college here. please don't call so often we have enough degree!

i've gotten several calls from this # for 2 days; no message when unanswered; silence when answered and then hangup whether I speak or not.  This # is from the other side of the U.S..  I'm concerned I'm somehow being scammed or charged with nothing I can do or not do about it?  Does anyone answer the Questions here or at least a place where they do?

called number back after receiving 4 calls in one day....after given the option to be placed on the do not call list it said "thank-you for calling educationready.net"

please stop calling me this is bad how you get my number this great you can call and not say a word n then hang up

I dont know how many times these guys have called me but its pissing the hell outta me. How in the world did they get my number? I want this s**t to stop becuase it is takeing my minutes p and they call in the wee hours of the morning and the dark hours of the night. Well i work and have a kid on the way and their gay a** phone calles keep me up.

Got tired of them calling like 3 to 4x daily, picked up to tell them off, but they f'ing hung up on me. NOW I'M Seriously pissed off now.

Five recorded messages in one day.  Very annoying. Stop calling a man who graduated 70 years ago.

I did call the number back; a female voice answered with explore a college, obviously a recording. It goes on to say press 1 to be added to the dnc list, press to to talk to someone to get bore info about the company. I tried to enter my number, twice, and before I could get it all entered a different female voice breaks in and says that is an invalid number. No doubt a scam.

I have been called from this number on numerous occasions.  Today nov 20,2009 I was called again and I do not live
in the USA  So weird.

Didn't answer any of the calls, as I only take calls from known people and/or known sources, but the number and source rang the phone three times during the day. Found out from internet search the info. Says its a telemarketer. Figured as much.

Please  dont call my # looking for my husband he does not need  another Schooling he is content with his Master from Embry Riddle.................please dont call me call his cell.

3 calls on my cell today... I don't answer numbers I don't know until I check it on here..  I have no intention of calling them for the do not call list.. ignoring them is just as easy.. (and who knows.. I may decide to act up a little bit)

I am curious where they got the number however..

They called me twice,saying this is Explore College.
I wanted to  tell`em too Kiss my A.
Because I`ve never heard of them.

They called me 2day and when I called it back it does say that it is a college and gives you the option to put your number on the DNC list.

The number says exploreacollege.. I have already graduated from an online college.. don't need another bill to pay.. thanks

they called me twice so far over the day. On the 2nd, I answered & they hung up.  So, I called them back & got a system message saying, "This is not a working number."  I'd be curious how Alisha found out it is an online college.
