Missed answering

Multiple calls at all times of the day - never leave a message but have been called as many as five times per day! Reports to National DO NOT CALL have had zero results - guess they are like most government employees who just collect money from tax payers and do nothing. Calls have been from 917-793-5553/5555/and 5557. HAS TO BE SOME TYPE OF FRAUD!

Calls daily; even Sundays.  Different times of day and night.  Automated call -- at least no response the few times I've answered and no answering machine message.  Been going on four to six weeks.  I'd want it to stop.  I'm on the "do not call" lists but have not reported it to the state and/or feds.

I've been getting it over the past week as well.  I never answer, and they never leave a message.  The caller ID text is pretty cryptic.

11/11/09 at noon; no one there when I picked up.  Happened a few days earlier, too.  I live in NH

have received multiple calls day/week from this number, they don't leave a message - I assume it's telemarketing and don't answer.  hugely annoying that they get the the do not call registry.

I am fed up with the persistent calls from this number. When will they learn that their invaasion WILL NEVER EVER GET ME TO RESPOND?

Calls everyday. Tried answering no response. Caller ID say American Lung. When they are caught I'll testify against them in court. Looking forward to it.

I hear you. 1st Transformers now Robo Dialers. Maybe someone can write an app to trace these bogus numbers. Is there an app for that?

Automated calls - no message.  Several times daily for several weeks now (Oct-Nov 09).  Finally answered once but nobody came on.

May be 'robo-dialers gone wild' ?

Called several days in a row. Never leaves a message. Different numbers under the name "American Lung".

This is not only a scam, but worse, these losers are using the identity of a real charity -- American Lung Association -- to get around the Do Not Call registery. They are NOT the American Lung Association. They will call you under all these numbers (and soon to be others), so ignore them, or make the caller's life difficult by abusing them on the phone:  917-793-5553, 917-793-5555, 917-793-5557, 917-210-4612, 917-210-4615.

They call from several different numbers.  Everyday... even after asking to be removed from the list.  I hope they get lung cancer at this point (sad, because I use to give to them but they have driven me nuts with their automated calling!)

Received a call on my land line.  By the time I picked up, the caller had hung up.  Last call return gave me this number.  I am also on the do not call list.  Hope this is not the start of many frequent calls.

This "outfit" was so persistent...calling every day that I nicknamed them my "stalker caller". I realized they would never stop calling and I got tired of them coming across my caller ID and finally picked up and asked the person on the other end to stop calling.  We'll see if they do. I am on a "no call list" so I am unsure as to how they got through.

it's a scam - both numbers 917-793-5553 and 917-793-5555 - they pose as American Lung and try to get you to donate - if you do, you be screwed

917-793-5553&5 Getting several calls a day/week for several monoths now. Research of that are code says it is assigned as a New York Cellular network. Never leaves messages.

I've been getting this same call at least 2-3 times a week for about a month now.  I never answer it and they never leave a message.  However, my caller ID says "American Lung".  I assumed they are calling for donations, but since I never answer it, that's just a guess.

Several calls from917-793-5553 with no ID other than "OUT OF AREA" on caller ID - a real pain in the neck. National DO NOT CALL has been notified but, as usual, they do nothing but collect pay from the tax paying citizens who put up with their failure to perform.
