I received a call from this number.  The man said he was from the FDA and was going to issue a warrant for my arrest?  I hung up on him.  I can only assume it's an extortion scam.

I rec'd a similar call.  This same man has called me before from a different number with a different name, but I recognize his voice.  He demands money be sent to the Dominican Republic or you will be arrested.  Even says there are agents in the neighborhood ready to "jump out of the bushes."  Next time he calls, I am informing him that falsely identifiying yourself as a Federal Agent is a Federal crime.

I was told this was FDA headquarters number and to confirm Sgt. William Marcus identity. I got some time to burn so i'll play the game a little.

I just received a call from this number.  Sargent william Markus from FDA.  He had my wife and my name.  He said he was working with FDA and DEA.  I told him FDA does not work with DEA and does not have an enforcement group.  They do not have sargents.  He said that local police would followup.  His accent was foreign.  It was something about a package being shipped with narcotics.  I told him to send the police
