I also received calls from "John Miller" 917-831-5040.  The first call was to my cell phone.  He left a message stating I should not disregard this call, I will have serious legal matters and God bless me and help me if I do not call.  He then called me at work and told me I took out a loan with Cash Advance and did not repay.  (NOT TRUE) He then asked if I have a lawyer to represent me in court.  I advised I did not take out any loans, and that I have researched this scam on Forbes.com and would not give him any information on the phone.  I told him that since he has all my information, he can mail me the information on the loan I supposedly defaulted on.  He said he would see me in court and hung up.

I also received a call at my home, my sister's home and my job. The caller said he was officer Shawn Trabon and that I owed money. When I refused he said they would contact the Mayor of my city and have them seize all my bank accounts and property immediatly, as well as my family's assests. My sister was very upset by this and I told her not to take any more calls from them if they're asking for me. She did and told them I don't live there, and they told her are you sure? Told them I would turn them in .

I also recieved multiple calls from this number this morning demanding money and claiming the same things as mentioned above. They were sexually harrasing my co workers . He claimed hes name to be John Miller. I got hes phone number and extension 917-831-5040 ext 505 i called the federal trade commision and gave them all this information which would be helpful in tracking this scam company and putting an end to this. the phone number i made the report to was 18773824357 . It was real easy and i suggest everyone mentioned above do the same.

The same thing happened to me yesterday, the same exact thing. They asked me to pay 300.00 yesterday, he said he was calling from Cash Advance America. My call went exactly like yours. Well this morning I decided to give them a taste of their medicine. I called an harrassed them all day. They cursed me out but I did not care because I hate a liar and people that try to get over on others. I am sure they have received money from people that did not think to investigate and look up this company.

I received a call from 917-831-5040. The man said his name was Ronnie Johnson and the name of the law firm is McKenzie Law Firm. He said my account was sent to their fraud department and I need to pay them 300.00 immediately. First of all I had no loans, so why are you calling me, he told me to be quiet and let him talk. He was rude then he told me that I need to pay 150.00 by this friday in order to avoid going to court where they will sue me for 6000.00. I guess he thought he was dealing with a dummy because I am not going to send anyone money without proof that I owe them. Like I said I do not have a loan. He said the loan was with Cash Advance America and I opened this loan four years ago. I knew that was a lie. I went along with what he was saying and I told him to call me back friday so we can set up payment. Last night I went home and googled the name Cash Advance America, I started viewing all of these scam reports. So this morning I called the number they called me from. I let them know that I am aware of the scam and they need to stop calling me. This time the guy said he is an officer. I told him to give it up because I am not giving them money. I told him that I have made contact with the FBI as well as the local authorities. He told me the FBI can kiss his a**. I continued to call and harrass them today because they did the same thing to me yesterday. He became upset and called me a bi***. I told him I am going to call his number every time I think about it because they have harrassed me as well as other people. I wish someone could find these people so they will stop scaming innocent people that are unaware of scams.

I have received calls from this and another number saying the exact same things! Tired of it and want it to stop! I have NOT used payday loans in years!!

I received a call today. I could not understand the person on the other end because of his heavy accent. He stated I was sent to their fraud department because of an outstanding loan to cash advance america. I told him I needed proof because I did not get a loan or anything from a company by that name. The caller had my name, address, phone number, email, and even my ssn. He even knew my place of business. He was rude, then he started speaking another language when I made him mad. He told me I need to send him $150.00 on this friday and another payment on Nov. 2. I told him that I can not make the payment, then he stated they will press charges. I knew this was a scam because my call is like the same call others received. I need these people to stop calling me.

I received a call from this number and the caller neededmy social security number for a legal matter. The caller spoke poorly and the noise in the background were red flags.

This company called my cell phone and when I didn't answer called my work.  They told me that I would be served tomorrow morning and that I was being investigated for fraud.  They told me I took out a cash advance  for $300 and never paid the company. They told me I was being sued for $6000.00.  I asked who I took a cash advance from and they told me Cash Advance USA.  I stated I had never even heard of this company and they said that they were the mother company and that they couldn't tell me the specific name of the company because it had already been forwarded to the court.  I then hung up on them and called back from my cell phone and asked for their company name, they just kept asking for my name and then finally told me 'McKenzie Law Firm'.  I told them that I was going to sue them and they started threatening me, telling me that I was going to be arrested, that I was going to lose my job, that I was being investigated on 17 fraud charges.  I told them that I had already called my lawyer and they hung up on me.   They then called right back and asked me to pay them and I told them to stop calling me.

I just got a call from this number (Hindu sounding guy) stating they were a law firm and he confirmed my first and last name along with my e-mail once confirmed he transferred me to some officer and that officer knew my SSN# (creepy) and stated that my call is being recorded threw my local municipal court, he stated that i owed $12,000.00 and that my loan provider is cash advance... they threaten with cops too... they gave me two options to solve this matter, so I choose option 3 and said "I just looked up your number and your a scam artist and your not getting nothing outta me" and I hung up

they left a message stating they were a law firm and i owed money for a loan ( i dont have any loans by the way). He also said i have a warrant for my arrest and if i didnt pay the police would come to my place of employment to arrest me. When i called back and stated i had no loans for anything he said nevermind and hung up. i called again asking for the law firms name and spelling they wouldnt give it to me and hung up. i called several times after that only to be ignored. so i called from my works phone they answered they stated that they didnt want to talk to me and also cussed at me.

I have had multiple calls from this number. Once my husband was called a fool and another I was cursed at. They claim to be a law firm collecting a debt that we do not have.

I had 4 calls from this number, two hang ups and one with a message saying that it was a law firm and needing my ssn.
