You may as well stop trying to get people like this to stop calling you.  Do what I do.  Make a list of the scam calls and keep it by the phone.  When one calls, you know who it is before you pick up.  When they ask for you, tell them to "hold on", put down the phone and go watch some TV.

That is a very good idea EXCEPT there is no way to forward an incoming call from a specific number while allowing calls from other numbers that you want to recieve calls from to not be forwarded.

I don't know who these people are, all they left is a long number. Can't these people be penalized for doing this to the public. There should be consequences for this action when we are on the no call list!

If you go online and register a complaint with the FCC and if they get enough complaints, they will investigate. The address is http://www.fcc.gov/complaints. My number is on the DNC list, and you can file a complaint at that website too, but I've found the FCC to be more responsive.

Get calls from this unnamed company sounding a dire warning about my unnamed "credit card."  If you listen to the full message, it's trying to lure you into calling about a lower rate.  Sounds like a scam.

Fourth call this week and no messages left in Voice Mail. I don't know who this is. I screen all calls. I don't want, don't need anything and hope this quits soon.

Just got a call from this number...I actually answered it cause it's the same area code as where my mother-in-law lives, and she just went back home after visiting with us, so I automatically assumed it was her calling.  Listened to the spiel by the operator and told her I don't have any credit cards and of course she hung up on me.

I spoke to a live person (after the automation) a guy came on the line and asked me how I was doing.  I replied fine.  He then asked if I was calling to take advantage of their offer.  I said actually no I am on the do not call list kindly remove my number from your list.  Next I got why didn't you say so in the first place bi***?  Now that made me mad.  These people are ridiculous.  Do not give any information.

Sooo I just got a call from that SAME number. I never answer numbers I don't know anyway, and I don't give my number out to just anyone, so I let it ring. I decided to look up the area code, to see where that could be from, and found this site, typed in the phone number, and find that several other people have gotten a call from this same number. I find that quite interesting...and from what I've read about others who have actually picked up, I'm glad I let it ring. wow....some crazy stuff going on.

Thank you Sam.  See my message on June 20.
I used to think the actual employees of these things might not know that their company is committing fraud.
Unfortunately, some sweet innocent sounding callers do know they shouldn't be calling, but don't care because they feel outside of any repercussion.

Me: "Please take this number off of your call list."
The response: "Or, what?"

I have received a couple calls from this number as well.  The last time they called I was home and tried the approach of asking to be taken off the call list.  Unfortunately, the woman (sounded east indian) replied, "Or, what?"  as if to say she and her company know that they aren't supposed to call, they don't care AND aren't afraid of any repercussion.  I was polite but terse until that point, but flaming mad afterwards, because she was right.  There is very little to be done right now.  If I'm wrong, please advise.

We can set up a method with individual telephone companies of tracking the registered entity of a particular number and eventually having that be on record as a "nuisance caller", but it takes multiple calls from exactly the same number, being home to trigger the tracking codes etc. right after the call and the caller actually being under the legal jurisdiction you can work with.

Right now a call center of one person to any number of people can exist in another country, register phone numbers anywhere in the world for a minimal fee and have unlimited calling.  They are only out their time and relatively small set up fees.  As soon as a number gets too many people upset they can easily switch to another.  I love technology, but the way things are at the moment is ripe for abuse.

Another scumbag robo-calling baboon.

Pressed one to speak to an idiot....wouldn't you know there was no one to take my call.   Imagine that?
This is a non-working number on callback, so I won't be able to rattle the baboons cage.

Better luck next time baboon!

I remember this call used to happen frequently...it's a recorded message with a important message about your credit card....trying to lower your interest rate... This is the second time they called today!  The caller ID says its a cell phone.  When I called it i got the message, "The person you have called is unavailable right now, please try again later." Then in spanish and back to english "message 2 switch 080."  Tried several times with the same result.

Real American Citizens can stop these calls. To celebrate our Independence, beginning in July, we should forward all calls from these unwanted telemarketers like this one from 918-213-3105 to our Congressmen and Senators.  If everyone in America forwards these unwanted telemarketer calls for a week, including charity and political fund raising calls, politicians would eventually get the message!

There are 535 elected officials in DC who work for us.  There are over 300 million American citizens, and over 50 million of us are eligible to vote (although some are too dumb to vote, but they do anyway).  If you are an intelligent American voter, use your phone to forward unwanted calls to your Congressman or Congresswoman or Senator.  This will send a message to our employees!

Do the math. When politicians have their phonelines tied up by 8 telemarketer calls per week that are forwarded by 25 million American Citizens - for just one week - that's 1.4 billion calls. Do you think they'll get the message when they can't keep their lines opened for political campaigning?  Take back America by "sharing reality" with those who work for us.  You can also use the White House main number if your congressmen or senators have unlisted numbers.

918-213-3105 called me.  I held on after the message about credit card interest rates until a human voice appeared.  I politely asked to have my phone number removed from the call list.  He hung up on me without a word.

Believe there may be a connection among numbers: 253-245-2220, 918-213-3105 and 763-208-4754.  Calls received from each of these within 5 minutes.  The 763 number showed caller as Jose Villagrana.  Did not answer either of the calls and they did not leave a message.
