Tried to buy a car in Calgary Alberta, Canada.  Same copy paste he sends everyone. So tired of these people!

Bogus check, don't cash or deposit it.  I bet next you are going to get some story from them by email or text message about an "accidental " overpayment with a request to send most of the money somewhere by wire transfer but keeping a little for your "trouble".  You might take it to your bank and ask for whomever there deals with check fraud and ask them to turn it over to the proper authorities for investigation.

Just sent me a check for $1950 for a dress listed at $500. check was from los angeles fair association. wtf?

Think I replyed on  your post a bit ago. Now he texted and asked if I  could  front some  money to the movers till the check cleared. I told him no.

Contacted through Craigslist as well. Thank you to previous posters we will not respond or waste our time.

Contacted me by text message about a boat we posted for sale on craigslist.  Sent fake email messages from paypal saying they had paid to Paypal but money was on hold until we went to Walmart and purchased $1000 in visa cards to pay the professional shipper when they picked up the boat.  Reported it to Paypal and was told it was fake.

Same here, tried to buy a $10K car sight unseen, from Oregon while he's in Oklahoma - this time for his nephew.  Wanted to use paypal and have vehicle shipped.  Definitely a scam.  Don't talk to him/her.

Yep - CR scammer offering to buy a car - sight unseen, from Wisconsin, while he is in Oklahoma, for his cousin, will have movers come and get it, and offered to pay with "the easiest and most secure way on the internet, PayPal". Fall for this a**-clown and you deserve to lose your dough.

Craigslist scammer trying to buy items he doesn't even know what they are and wants PayPal account info!! Beware.
