just got a call in miami!!

I received a call from this number, when I ask to the man what company he was represented, he says that my car warranty expired. I ask him again and he hang up.

Does the police is doing something about this?

I got a call from the 909-983-8696, and it scared me that i didnt know who it was so i did not answer it. I then decided to google the area code, and then preceded to google the number. hope i dont get any more calls like that its annoying.

I got it too, let it go to voicemail, no message.  When i called it back, It didn't seem to be a valid number anymore...

I got a call from this number on 6/2/08. I did not pickup because I did not recognize it and I don't live in OK. They did not leave a message.

I just got called from this number. I didn't recognize it so I let it go to voice mail. Of course there was no message left. So I googled the number, and to my surprise I find out these calls come from Oklahoma.

I don't own a car, so I don't know what they could possibly want me to buy.

I have had over 30 calls from this and various other numbers in the past 2 months for the same crap warranty extension.  "opting out" does not work, talking to them does not work either.  They keep hanging up on me.... ooooooh well, it is fun to yank their chains after a long day!  -Jay

I just got a call from this 918 375 2671 number i dont pick up because i dont know who is. my mom also got a call from someone asking who asked about a car warranty. what can we do about this caller

What do we all have in common? I am running a jailbreaked iphone on at&t, maybe someone got a hold of a bunch of at&t numbers?

My husband's phone rang last night with that number and he didn't answer, not knowing who it was.  About 10 minutes later my phone rang with the same number.  Tried calling it back and it rang fast busy!  We have T-Mobile.

Myself and a coworker got this exact same phone call. Mine from this number, his from another number. The person on the phone asked me about my warranty telling me it was up, asking me my mileage and VIN. I told him that if he was with the car company he would already have my VIN informaiton. He hung up on me.

Just got a call from this number and didn't answer- they didn't leave a message. I have AT&T wireless and 415 area code (San Francisco)... did someone find a bunch of AT&T numbers or are they calling people at random?

I ask them what company they are with, they hangup.  I will give them bogus info and have them send a bill to my work address.

Pacific Guard Warranty

They will hire anybody off the street to sell their warranty. Not only do they charge people way more than the actual retail price, but the people they have working for them will scare you. One gal who is currently employed with them is an ex-con. She is currently on probation, she is now employed with pacific guard warranty incorporated sales company. She is one of the ones who will be getting all your personal information over the phone, including your creditcard numbers. another guy cant even vote for presidency because he too has a felony. Most of the reps dont even have vehicles to get to work and back, they thrive on others to get there. Some come to work in their slippers, and some have jail tatoos.The company pays for leads to find you. once you are found, they will heavily convince you that you need their service.

The reps in the office, all work on commission. they are given a script with a so-called authorization department (which is another person in the office who will get on the phone to push the urgency that you buy the warranty today. They claim they are final promotions. (there isnt any!) They claim, your warranty on your car will expire and nobody else will accept you (that is not true, because they take in 'any' vehicle that has never had warranty.)

You lose by possibly having identity theft, you lose your enrollment fees, you lose your precious time wasting it with them. You lose allot of money! You lose trust with other companies which isn't fair.

Got the call here in Denver on my land line, we have had numerous calls all regarding car warranty stuff.  I don't answer calls with unknown caller ID because they are driving me nuts.  Where are they getting our information?

they called me today and asked about my wife, when I asked to indroduce themselves they hung up on me.....

I got a missed call from 918-375-2671.  If I could recall it right, this is the FRAUD Company who sent me a check for $4500 for an apparent Mystery Shopping but only to find out that it's bogus!!!

They also continually send me things in the mail regarding the supposed "expired" warrenty.. the interesting thing is they called me on my work cell phone which would have never been tied into a car warrenty.

Got the call at work and the people are dumb enough to believe my last is the company name. fyi the company name is not anywhere near to what anyone would have as a last name. couldnt understand the lady the first time so i said "say again" still couldnt understand her. kept on telling her "Say again" even when I could obviously understand her. every response i gave her was "Say again" she eventually got the clue and hung up. People you need to be tough with these scammers. dont let them win by whining and calling the cops. just annoy them by doing something similar to what i did. if enough get annoyed by smart people they may just find something else to do.

also received a call, went to voicemail with an optout message.  I have sprint, but my number was originally with t-mobile.

ATTENTION ALL POSTERS TO THIS TOPIC: REPLY FROM Agra Police Department - Officer Richard Roe: The phone calls you are getting from the number is not Raquel Bursiaga nor is it April Stol.I have taken report from both individuals. This has been turned over to the OSBI as well as the FBI. It appears that someone has intercepted their phone numbers and using a computer generated calling system to make the calls. As annoying as it may be to all who are getting the calls, imagine what they are going through. Ms. Bursiaga has had her phone unplugged since May 1st as the phone never stops ringing. For those of you that are leaving threatning messages such as bombing of homes and such, that to is a crime and you should put much consideration into the threat before posting further as the posts being made will be forwarded to the FBI and OSBI. I am sorry this is happening but people need to think about my daughter her phone number has been hacked. Somebody is using this to sell stuff. We have tried so many things to change her # get the # shut off our police dept. is the only one helping. Our phone company is very rude to us and is charging us to shut the phone off. We are trying everything my daughter is a young lady and is now getting thearts on her life we take turns staying with her because people are posting were she lives. She cries everyday we are even getting the news invovled. I understand people being mad but if you are a parent how mad would you be if people were telling you child to but a bullet to their head. I want to find the basterds that are doing this more then any of you! So please if you are going to post something remember my doughter could be your daghter could be yours. PLEASE help us call Central Oklahoma Telphone Co. and complain. Please stop the hate words to a young lady who is just starting her life and some idiots are tring to stop it!

I feel like I've won some sort of jackpot... received a second call and held them on for a bit citing interest, and convinced them to give me a call back telephone number since my cell got bad reception.  They gave me 888-282-3524 ext 4216.  A google search reveals the number comes from a "Pacific Guard Warranty" company in Pleasant Hill, CA. 25 Crescent Dr. Ste A538.  I grew up 2 miles from the place and know it well.  I should be able to make it down there within the next week to check it out.
