I keep getting calls for someone named Carol. That is not me nor do I know her. I have gotten calls from this trashbag company everyday from multiple numbers. I have requested that they quit calling me, yet I am still getting calls first thing in the morning. The employees there are either stupid, apathetic, rude, or stone deaf. Entirely unprofessional all around.

Here's what you do: Report them. Ameriloan is actually Tribal Financial Services DBA Ameriloan of the Miami Nation Enterprises of The Sovereign Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. Report the harassing and fraudulant calls to the Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/phonefraud/index.shtml) for telephone fraud and harassment.
I receive daily calls at my business from them and they refuse to cease and decist. They also refuse to provide their address and contact information besides the 800 number, or send a letter. The caller usually says, "that's confidential information" or "I can not divulge that information".
I entered all three entities noted below. You can add several businesses to the one complaint and write a description.

I entered the name of the person as "Travis Jones", that's the name I got from a "Supervisor" after I started to hastle the initiall caller.
Also, ask your friends to call those 3 numbers daily and ask for Travis or Dawn. You can also have them call the call back number they give you or the number that shows up on your caller ID.

Got it to, early in the morning.

They need to stop calling me. I have no business with them and they have no reason to call me. When I asked to speak with a supervisor they said that I was not giving them enough information to be directed to a supervisor. I asked the guy what other information he needed for me to be able to talk to a supervisor and he then said that he would not be able to transfer me to a supervisor. He eventualy just hung up on me because I kept asking him all these questions and was making it very difficult for him to keep control of the conversation. I may call them back (NOT MY WORK NUMBER) tomorrow just to give them a hard time so they know what it feels like.
| mary 2011-06-06 21:07:11 Unknown |
I also got a call from this number. The guy was very rude. I told him I was not aware of any debt and that if he continued to call me, I had his number and would report him to the authorities. He has not called again.

These morons called me at work reporting I owed them money. That he was an attorney from the Federal Bureau of Crimes and that they were going to the courthouse to sue me and I need to pay them $2800. I kept questioning him on various things and told me to send me the paperwork, etc that he claims his company had. He finally got so frustrated with me he begin to cuss me out. I don't know how the illegal pieces of crap are allowed to continue to harass us. What a scam. I never even heard of the company he said he represented. I sure do not owe them any money. What a way to start your morning off at work.

Do reverse phone directory at
411.com
It will tell you the city and
state where the call is alledly
form however I take it one step
further. If you look to the
right on the screen that shows
you this there is a sponsored
link that says (303) 578-xxxx
Records Available! If you click
on that one nice thing is it
gives you GPS coordinate of
Longitude and latitude. If you
type that Longitude and latitude
into Google Earth you will find
that this group really exists.
In my case it was China.
Do not stop there. Send this
information to the Attorney
General of the State that the
call orginiated from with how
you got the information. Shut
these idiots down do not let
them victimize anyone else.
Also find the police department
in the city or county nearest
where the call originated and
do the same thing. We have to
be proactive here gang and quit
being complacent and letting
other people get victimized
also. SHUT THESE IDIOTS DOWN
GET MAD AND DON'T TAKE IT ANY
MORE. They are counting on you
being a victim!!!

www.ripoffreport.com
HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:
Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.
According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: ?we could not do anything for you? or ?you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days?.
If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.
Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!
DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!
Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.
And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.
Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.
If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.
CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD
If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.
Remember? Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
And good luck? Let us know how you do!

Also, they gave me 20% off for paying the total balance and when I asked if I could call them tomorrow to the number showing up on my caller ID the woman who I was dealing with told me that after I hung up the phone number would show up as "phone answered, no payment" and that it would go somewhere else and I would not have another chance to pay it off at this price.

I have been receiving calls from these people for a while and they have daily showed up on my caller ID but I was never home. I finally answered and I thought it to be a scam, until they provided me with an email address that I knew my daughter who is in college had created and only her and I knew about this email address. I instantly realized that my daughter had gotten a loan and she had not payed it back. The only reason why I paid it was because I didn't want interest to keep accumulating and later I would have to pay a lot more, but after reading from others that they can't legally make me (or my daughter) pay the money back I regret paying it.

ameriloan continues to call my number to try and reach a person by the name of francis meredith. she apparently took out a loan with them and wont pay them. instead of them harassing her they call my number several times a week and want me to provide them with a way to reach francis. i have told them not to call me anymore and that i have nothing to do with francis meredith. i never authorized anyone to use my name or number.
they apparently dont care because they continue to call me. i plan on notifying the attorney general in california.

This is a full SCAM. Nothing legal about this. Change your phone number and open a new bank account. No legit company will request payment but will not supply paperwork. They told me if I make payment arrangements they would send me an email,, but no proof as to a debt that they say I owe.. LOL

It's Ameriloan. I had too many of those stupid payday loans and consolidated them through a payday loan consolidation company. All of the other companys worked with the consolidation company except for these a**holes. They have been calling me for over a year. My consolidation company says to just keep ignoring them and that there is nothing they can do legally. So, I never answer and they can just keep calling if they want. It's irritating but I can outstubborn them.

Does anyone have an address for these people? I got one in PA to leave me alone by contacting the PA Atty General's office. On their complaint form, (online), for what I wanted to see happen, I put stop them from calling cell phones and repeat calling numbers on the do not call list; I never heard a word from them again.

These pay day loan people call my cell about once a week. Yes, I'll admitted when I was younger I took a loan from them, this was over 5 yrs ago. They can't collect. Now that I'm older (and more responsible) I have gotten all 3 credit reports and they don't show up ANYWHERE on my report. Most these places aren't even legal in a lot of states. So don't get scared just ignore them is all I can say.

Yeah these ppl call everyday onmy workline. I think they are looking for someone who used to work here...They used to call my co-workers line. I'm usually busy and cannot answer personal line calls so I just "divert" them.
