Mistake in post - I meant to say - They were calling to check on me as IF they were a relative!

These people called me by name saying they were calling to check on me as they were a relative!  Don't be fooled!  It is just another tactic to get money and personal information and I did not fall for it because it sounded funny!  Trust your guts!  I posted this to make everyone aware of it.

Every few days, this number calls.  There's a beep and then a recorded voice says "Goodbye" and hangs up.  Trying to call back just gives a "this call cannot be completed as dialed" error.

The caller ID said "DO NOT ANSWER" so I didn't answer this time. When they called before they were looking for my ex daughter-in-law, when I tell them that she doesn't live here and I haven't heard from her in 3yrs. they say that they will remove my number...WTF  Don't they get it. They call almost every day and I tell them the same thing!!!!!! STUPID STUPID PEOPLE.........STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They call everyday on house phone.The caller i d say DO NOT ANSWER and that number,what is this¿

I receive a call from this number and when I called it back it was a pre-recorded message saying that the number or code that you dialed is not in service. WTF.  This number calls at least 5 times a day. Damn it will you make it stop..................

Its only a phone call. Keep in mind they are trying to rip you off. So make them feel like s**t. They are only pieces of s**t in this world so f*** em. Tell them youll eat there next born child if they keep calling.

These f***ots keep calling me and The message is as follows when answered, " Thank you for answering, If you don't want to recieve calls about our special promotions, please press one. Please allow 72 hours for us to put you on the list thank you and have a great day." If this s**t doesnt stop Ill find the f***ers and off them myself. I have opted out 6 times and yet these little f***ers keep calling.

I keep getting calls from this number, then get an automated good-bye. Nothing else.

have no idea calls every hour and a half. NO message!!!!

I have received many calls from this number, but when I pick the phone up I get a pause and then a female voice saying good bye.  Calls have come all hours of the day and night and I want them stopped.

It's a scam! They kept calling and i always said i was busy. They called me this morning telling me that i qualify for financial help and they would help me pay off my education without me paying anything back. all i had to pay was a username and password fee. i dont feel confortable giving out my ssn or credit card number through the phone so i said i'd send them a money gram, lady got mad and said i had to pay it through the phone. i hope they dont call again, but letting all you guys know, it's a scam.

I just got 3 calls today from this number. First call was a man saying he was going tto uelp me with financial aid for college. I hung up on him. Second call I ignored, because I was on the phone. They immediately called back, and I answered saying I was reporting the number.

Calls every couple of hours...leaves no message...

STOP calling me pls, I have no idea who's calling

I get the call 4 or 5 times daily,and never answer it. It also says "Grand Prize" in the caller ID box. I have never known "Publishers Clearinghouse" to call first. Its obvious they are using an auto dialer,just calling every number numerically,until some unsuspecting fool answers,then they will say you have won a great prize,but you need to go to Tunisia [just an example} to look at property for sale. Its one of the oldest scams around and the callers should be taken out and whipped with barbed wire!! Then pour salt in the wounds..........in 110 degree heat..........with a jug of ice cold water just inches from their reach...........then pull out toenails with pliers.......I could go on,....I really do NOT like scammers or telemarketers.....as they are the lowest bottom feeders around.

I called this number back and the recording said "if you do not want to recieve calls about our special promotions, please dial 1 now." Or something very close to that.

Calling me every half hour.  Driving me nuts.

An Asian sounding woman called and asked specifically for me and wanted to know if I was interested in applying for college.  I blew her off.

DO NOT CALL THID NUMBER EVER AGAIN!
