Confirming, calls made to VRBO customers by a competitor, simply ignore the calls.

I also have a VRBO listing and have gotten several calls from this number.  I have never answered any since I don't recognize the number, and there has never been a message left

I just got another call from this number. No answer. Added their number to name in my phonebook called "junk" which is set it to send calls directly to voicemail. Not a perfect solution, but I don't get bothered by them.

IDK who this is, but they were already on my call blocker so they have bothered me several times before.

Caller ID says "Private Caller."  They have apparently called me several times before, because I already had them on my phone's Blocked list - the phone rings once and disconnects them. (That is set up in my hardware - Verizon's caller-block system is cumbersome.  You have to call Verizon and wait to talk to a rep, and then only the first 5 numbers are free.  We should all only have 5 nuisance callers!)

I have a VRBO listing in CA and got the call today at 2:54 PM.  After I said "Hello" there was a noticable delay, which is common for robocalls, so I hung up before anything or anyone might try to sell me something. My number is on the National Do Not Call Reg. I'll file a complaint now...

I have gotten several calls from this number. On caller ID, it actually say "Do Not Answer". Someone suggested it's associated with VRBO. I am a member of VRBO. So maybe that's the connection.

in looking at the comments the connection seems to be anyone who is working with VRBO is getting this.  I think it is another company trying to get you to advertise with them.

I have a contact on my cell phone entitled "Pest, do not answer."  Now when they call my cell phone I just let it ring.  Have about 10 numbers on that contact list and growing.

I keep getting calls from 918-442-0865 but I do not answer. I reported it to the National Do Not Call Registry today. I keep finding things on the internet about others who have complained about getting calls from this number. Apparently this has been going on for over a year and no one has stopped them. I have a property listed on VRBO as well...interesting as I do not have my phone number on my vrbo site.

Please start answering these calls and try to find out who is actually doing the calling!  Without that info, there is no way to shut them down.  A call back to this number (918-442-0865) indicates it is not in service.  I'm also on the Do Not Call Registry and I've already filed a complaint with the FCC and FTC, but without knowing who is actually doing the calling, it's difficult to get anyone to do anything about it.

I've tried answering these calls at least four time now, and never once has there been anyone on the other end.  If I do finally get someone on the other end I will be completely receptive to whatever they are selling or calling about.  Only so that I can finally get some info on who they are (not who they are calling on behalf of).

These callers certainly need to be stopped, and there are laws in place to protect us and to have them shut down, but we can only do that if we have all of their info.

So please start answering these calls, and get as much info as you can.  The company they work for.  The address and a (working) phone number you can call them back at.  What the are calling about.  Etc.  Then promptly come back here and add that info to this site.

Just received call, as well and I list on VRBO. Very frustrating as this is our busy season and I need to know if renters have any issues. I did not answer.

These losers just called my cell. I am a former VRBO client. We have not had our property listed on VRBO for over a year now because we sold it. Therefore, these idiots are either using old information to make their calls, or VRBO is sharing our info? Either way, it's a NUISANCE to receive these types of calls (even though I don't answer them). I followed someone else's suggestion and set up a contact on my iPhone titled "SPAM CALLS". I also found out (online) how to download a silent ringtone and assigned it to the Spam Calls contact. Now, whenever I get calls like this on my cell, I simply add them to the "Spam Calls" contact and my phone doesn't even ring when they call me. Really a lifesaver and eliminates the stress and frustration caused by these types of robo calls. Good Luck folks!!

Just got a call from same ID and phone # -- I'm also on VRBO.  If it is an auto-call program grabbing phone numbers off of VRBO listings, I'm glad I still have a land-line phone to list.  I'd be seriously annoyed if this was coming to my cell phone.

I got called 4 times today alone from this number.  From reading the posts here, almost everyone says they are listed on VRBO as I am.  Sounds like we should all complain to VRBO about this.  Someone is either going on all the listings and getting the phone numbers of the owners or VRBO is selling the list.  Either way it is a nuisance.  We are seldom at our number listed on VRBO and depend on emails, etc.  We have had pretty good luck using VRBO but this is definitely an intrusion in our privacy.  I too could hear the boiler-room noise in the background on the recordings.  Has to be a telemarketer.

I just received a call from "Do Not Answer" 918-442-0865. I did not answer...for obvious reasons. Anyway, I'm also a VRBO owner and find it interesting that our number is getting picked up by these telemarketers, scammers, etc. Although, we do have our numbers on our sites which is public info. These numbers need to be added to the Do Not Call list. Anyone have an idea of who to contact besides this site to get rid of these leeches?

I received a call from this number on my cell phone asking, (while you can hera others talking like in a telemarketing boiler room set up) "Can I speak to the owner of the vacation property rental?" to which I replied "No and don't ever call this number again."

I advertise on VRBO for people looking to rent the property not solicitors to call me about and it plainly says so on my listing.

In addition, this number is listed on donotcall.gov.

I got 2 calls from them today, on the golf course not less.  And I also have a listing on VRBO.  So you think VRBO is selling them lists?

918-442-0865--keep getting calls from this number, and my caller I.D. says:  'DO NOT ANSWER'     So, I don't.  But when I reverse call, the recording says it's been disconnected.
