This number has called me every day for the last 2 weeks. They either hang up when i answer or they ask for me and when I tell them it is me; they hang up.

I just received a call from the same #....and this is my work cell #!
I didnt answer but these calls are getting ridiculous.  If this was an anectdotal call, it would be one thing, but when there is multiple posts of people complaining, especially commenting like @Brian suggests, it needs to be put to a stop.

Guy that spoke broken english, identified himself as Jay Anderson.  Called and asked for my wife, I asked why and he proceded to tell me he was her boyfriend.  I asked why he was calling and he wouldn't say.  He said he was calling for my wife and wanted to speak with her, I said no way you can speak to me her husband.  To which he said why am I supposed to have sex with you?  Eventually he hung up after I started swearing like a sailor at him.  All I know is if he calls back to my # the call is going to be recorded and I will notify the authorities.

The same number keeps calling me about schooling. I already have told the guy that I already have a school he hung up me. He has an Indian accent and hard to understand him he says I am not trying to sell you anything. He has been harrassing me none stop and stopped and as of yesterday he started back! He blocked me from calling him back and so I dont know how to stop him.

WHO KEEPS SCAMMING TO GET MY UNLISTED CELL NUMBER AND HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET MY NAME?  I do not go online and put my number into anything, I do not sign up for stuff, I do not publish my number - but some dumbasses keep calling me asking about returning to college, adding to my insurance, or just a dead line when answered.  When I call back, I get a recording that "this number has been misdialed" - or "this is not a working number" - OK SO WHO IS CALLING ME?????????  They want to verify my address with the issuer of my cell phone account address.....not my address (Thanks to the above).....

Do we have any phone companies out there who can control the phone numbers they have - and issue?

I received a call from this number 918-726-0237 and a guy with an Indian, or from that region, tone of voice, was trying to get personal info from me, saying that I requested information from them about returning to college for a master degree or something, he was very upset when i told him i was not interested.....  definitely a SCAM.

The guy sounded like he was from the Middle East he hit on me

Got a call on my cell phone, heard nothing when I answered it, it hung up after 11 seconds.

Didnt answer the phone any of the numerous times they have called...hav had several random #s call with nothing to say but to scam me....its gettin old!

stop calling if there too stupid to answer

This number called and asked for me directly.  After stating I was not here they hung up without leaving a number.  This is not a number that I know of.  The person calling sounded of indian decent.  I recently had placed an ad in craigslist and had been asked to cash an out of state check and they would pay me 30 extra dollars.  I'm hoping this is not the people that were requesting me to do this activity.
