Message refers to "your credit card account" as though they were from one of your lenders. I knew this wasn't the case, but decided to answer by pressing "1" and getting whomever on the phone. He explained that they represent all credit card companies and can lower the interest rate on all cards. To qualify, you must have an outstanding credit card balance of $3,000 or more. I don't, so that ended the call. The guy was polite. Of course, I didn't get a chance to hear what his deal would be. Many of these credit cards debt-help firms are scams. Not all, but too many are suspect to trust on a cold phone call. That's my advice.
