I got a call a few minutes ago, asking me if I was  ============and if I was to press 1, if notblah blah blah, looked up number and said it was BROOKS FIBER COMMUNICATIONS, AND THE LIST OF NUMBERS WENT ON AND ON AND ON.  i HVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WANT, BUT IT IS "VERY IMPORTANT THAT THEY GET A HOLD OF ME?  AUTO SYSTEM NOT WORKING AS i PRESSED ONE AND THE MESSAGE JUST KEPT GOING.  SO i HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY WANT WITH ME, BUT THEY KNOW MY NAME.....918-878-8194...................................

this has been the second or third time i have received a call from this phone number, when i call back there is no ring. plz stop calling if you don't know me!, annoy someone eles who likes this sort of thang.

I received a call today asking for one of my friends to call them back regarding some legal litigation that she is under. I gave the message to her and she has found out that it is FRAUD!!!!!!!!

What's up with this number?!! I've gotten several calls from it, just today. I don't answer numbers I don't know. After looking the number up and seeing what everyone has said, I decided to call it back. It's definitely not a working number. So how can someone call from a non-working number?

My mother received a call on her cell phone from this number.  When she answered, a voice said... "You've got five minutes" and then hung up.  She tried to call the number back but got a message saying the number was unavailable.  This is very frusterating and really scared her.

Has called me twice, when I answer there is no one there.

When I answered, nobody was on the other end. Weird.

Someone called my cell phone from this number yesterday...I did not answer it and now I am glad that I didn't after reading all of these comments!

I got a call on my cellphone today from this number- called twice and didn't leave a message on my phone-- I called it back and it just said the number was unavailable-

THEY HIT YOU THE SAME DAY THEY HIT ME. I AM FROM THE SAME AREA YOU ARE. THEY THINK THEY ARE SWIFT BUT IT DONT SEEM LIKE THEY ARE GETTING TOO FAR!!!

i recieved a call from this number today telling me that i was going to be arrested due to not paying off a payday loan that is supposedly took out (which by the way i did not) he was foreign i could tell that. he told me that all of this could go away if i just made a simple payment over the phone with him right then. i told him i was not giving him money for something i did not do. he had all my personal information. lets just say i went and closed all my accounts!!!!

this number called my friend and told her they were doing a criminal investigation on me and to give me their number.   they called from 918-879-0020, then the call back number was a 904 area code.  the guy she talked to had some kind of accent.  do not trust anything these people say, i am not sure that is legal to pose as a police investigator.  i would not recommend calling these people back.

Received a call from this number at 11:57am, no one answered when I said Hello. Tried to call back this number by using our work phones and it is busy.

I just got a call from this number (7:10 PM) on my cell phone.  It was a recorded message that said they were some debt management company and to ignore the call if I had no debt.  I hung up so I don't know what came after that.

I got a call from this number a couple of days ago, the lady on the other end had a foreign accent. She said she with some home learning thing. I told her I wasn't interested to remove me from her list and she said "I will be happy to do this for you, I just need you to listen to a short 2 minute recording..." I cut her off and said "No" "Take me off your list, call my house again and I will report you for harassment." Guess that didn't work, because I got home from work today and the number was on my caller I.D. again. They called at 4:07pm.
Just a note, I have been warned to be careful about calling some of these numbers back because you may be billed for an international call on your phone bill.

Called my friend said I was involved in a law suit. Left the # 904-592-6283 to call back. Phone goes dead. Goes by the name John Womack. I'm not in a lawsuit.

got a call from this number and my answering machine picked up...

They called from 1-918-879-0020 today saying that the last 4 digits of my cell have won $ 1,000 and they asked to press "1"... most certainly a fraud... how dangerous?

same thing 11:39AM eastern time.  Recorded message in Spanish.  No idea what it said.  I get these calls about twice a month, but I havent taken note as to whether or not they are always from the same number. Who knows...

I received call about 8:30 a.m. from this #. Website hosting. Told them no. Tried to argue with Me.

I recieved a voice mail  which stated that they were from an "Attorneys Office" and they could help reduce credit card debt, mortgage etc.
Sounds like a scam to me since they say something different to each person they call. I will not even answer calls from this number!

I got a call from this number, 918-879-0020, today. Man claiming to be from "Worldwide", needed my Checking account number to take my name off of some list. I told him I NEVER give out personal information on the phone. He said it was OK they've been handling "this" by phone, all over the country. I said "Well you can just send me something by mail "Cuz' Worldwide is out of business...I watch the news" He then told me he'd wait on the line while I went and got my checkbook. I said "NO"...he yes.  I said "NO", he said "yes, yes, yes" and I hung up on him. Call notes shows this number as an International Number, but after researching the number I found the provided is Brooks Fiber Communications here in Tulsa, OK. The number itself is Unpublished or unavailable. When I tried to call the number back, all I got was a real fast busy signal. I'll try to find an address for Brooks Fiber Communications and call the provided. Maybe they can track down who has this number. We'll just see what happens. It's just a joke I guess. Maybe the very people that started 800notes.com.  hehe  Truth is stranger than fiction...right?

When I called 918-879-0200 back a recording with a Brittish accent answered and let me know that this is a travel related telephone call and if I needed more information "we" (no idea who "we" are) would contact me again shortly. Then it told me to hang up. Carefully monitor your telephone bill if you have contacted this number.

A call from Skype? Interesting. Very interesting. I have gotten two of these calls in the past month. And there is only one person that I know who uses Skype.
