Spanish caller claiming the are calling from the police department asking for donations. I didn't give them any info and when I told them I knew it was a scam they hung up on me. STOP THEM!!! REPORT THEM!!!

Received a call from this man speaking Spanish telling me the call may be monitored or recorded for, i could hear him typing in the background, I could tell it was a scam because he did not know what to exactly say to me and could not say where he was calling from. He was asking for money donations for the police department. Caller ID shows as Durham, NC phone number 919-213-6970.

i  received calls from them all the time but i do not answer my phone...but from now on, i think i will answer HOUSE KEEPING LIKE    sick & tiredi  

keep calling and yes they only seem to speak Spanish (I'm fluent) however I refuse to speak Spanish to them and I always answer the phone now "house keeping" they hang up I am so sick of these spam calls from now on this is HOUSE KEEPING

When I answered the phone in English, they hung up. I called back and answering machine states in Spanish to leave a message with your number to be removed. The mailbox is full and hangs up.

This number from Durham is on my phone everyday!  I do not have a blocking function.  What a waste of their time.

i'm receiving call almost everyday at different times of the day from this number and sometimes unknown (I'm not sure if they are the same people) but most of the time nobody say anything

I've also received these calls on my cell phone from a spanish speaking woman. I personally feel these calls are bogus. FYI Nance, the people calling are NOT from Puerto Rico. All the caller's spanish accents are South American spanish accents NOT Carribean spanish accents nor Spaniard accents. Spanish speaking people have different accents & dialects.

Keep getting calls at all times of the day. Sometimes they speak (in spanish) or no voice at all. Getting tired of the interruptions.

they have been calling our house in spanish.  When i asked them to speak english, they said "wrong number" and proceeded to immediate call me again.  I am blocking this number.

They called looking for spanish speakers to star in their new porn movie.  

Received a call from this number on Sunday 04/13/2014 @ 10:50 am.  Lady spoke Spanish and said she was from the Department of Immigration.  I spoke to her in English and asked her who do you want to speak to, she repeated my name, then in broken English she said, wrong number.

They called me in Spanish and said that since I had donated money in the pass to the Police Department they were calling me to make another generous donation. I put them on hold and called the police department and they knew about these calls and told me not to answer them or call them back.  The area code is from NC but I could tell that it was probably coming from Puerto Rico. This is a scam please don't answer these call and warn your parents and grandparents about it.
